Thanks you guys, I know it sounds slushy but it means a lot ♡{Asher's P.O.V}
F*ck! I'm getting my girl back! I'm getting my little Ray of happiness in her little bundle of not so much happiness but still, my little angel, my little skateboarder, my little golden girl, my everything, my universe, the purpose of my existence and the only good thing about that part of town back! Finally!I need to get out of here. I need to get out to California- fast! But how? How the heck am I going to get there?
I shifted my head to look out of each window at a time, looking for a way to get out of here.
Passenger side back window: nothing.
Back window: nothing
Drivers side back window: a pretty beat up looking mophed right beside a gas pump with the keys in the ignition. That thing was practically begging me to take it and yes, I know it's not the fastest set of wheels but they're the only available wheels around here.
How convenient.
I shot out the car, backpack on my back, and ran straight to it. I started it up and hopped on, getting out of that place easily as f*ck! Seriously, a kid could have done it and no one would have even realised the thing was missing and besides, unless it belonged to the guy in the kiosk, it was 100% abandoned with no owner around.
I rode for a few hours, no sign of being followed by anyone and near enough to a little airport I could catch a plane over from. This wasn't going to be easy but it was a good enough start.
{Frank's P.O.V}
I'd finished pumping the gas and headed to the kiosk to pay when I heard Gerard mumble something as the passenger side door shut, his footsteps close behind mine as we walked."You couldn't even sit alone in the car with the kid, could you?" I smirked knowing just how much this was killing him to have to be around the guy who, for all he knew, could be f*cking his daughter.
"I don't really care for the kid." He grumbled -I won't say that I told you so but, I did!
We walked into the kiosk, picked up some more snacks and drinks then went to the counter to pay which was when I turned my head for a split second to look over in the direction of the car, only to watch a shaggy haird, tall looking teenager starting up a beat up lookin' mophed and rushing off down the road.
"What the-" I mutterd to myself while fumbling around for my wallet to pay the guy.
"Was that Asher?" Gerard chimed in, hesitant ( ;D )
"Think so." I answered still focused on the now empty gas station while also paying the guy who really just didn't want to be here anymore. "Come on." I finished paying the guy and stormed out to the car, Gerard following by my side and letting me know, despite the fact that I could see there was no Ash sized boy child in the backseat, that "the f*cking kid is gone", "he's gone Frank!", "He's got to have found out where she's ran too!", "Frank, what are we going to do now?".
"Gerard, if you don't shut the f*ck up right now, I will make you missing just like the both of them!" I spat frustrated.
"Whatever." He mumbled getting into the car to which I followed suit, starting up the ignition and following the same route Asher went in.
We were seriously stuck. We had no lead, no idea where they had both rushed off to and we were just driving.
"Frank, what are we going to do?" Gerard broke out.
"Honestly, I have no f*cking clue." I sighed.
"This is all my fault." He sighed in frustration almost copying me.
"No sh*t!" I smirked.
"Thanks man. I just wish I'd pulled myself together. I mean, I didn't even teach her to ride a bike for the first time or teach her how to swim. I wouldn't even tuck her in and tell her a story at night, she'd just - I done even know what she did, I was so out of it." He sighed again staring out the window as the sun fell through the sky to be replaced by the gentle light of the moon.
"Why didn't you just try, at all? You just let her plod along. Gerard she was 3. How could you have just left her like that?"
"I don't even know." He mumbled gently.
