Damn I just wanna get this finished now
○From silent dreams we never wake, and in this promise that we'll make○
(Mikey's P.O.V)
I heard a car pull up outside and jumped up to the window to see Frank and Gerard step out of the vehicle. My rage filled again as I processed everything and everything I wanted so desperately to say to them. My baby neice was halfway across the frigging country and all we had was some lousy passive aggressive comment to go off for it.I opened the door before they could even get half way up the path and stood with my arms crossed over my chest and a p*ssed look over my face.
"Hi Mikey." Gerard sighed taking in my appearance and taking in account of how mad I am.
"Hi. Come on in." I gestured to the innards of my home, stepping out of the way for them to pass on through saying hello to Frank as he passed by me.
They took a seat in the living room where I offered them a drink, making three coffees and bringing them in so that I could further my yelling at the two of them.
"Where's Kristin and my little girl?" Gerard asked with a smile looking around sort of.
"Your little girl! I'm sorry Gerard, can you hear yourself- Tell me you heard how wrong that was. She is not your little girl, your little girl is Bandit. Bandit- you know that is right? Your daughter? Your daughter who you pushed away for years? You know that right? The daughter that is now half way across the frigging country? That's your little girl. But you f*cked up and she's not yours any more." I spat keeping my voice shallow knowing that this way, perhaps my words will burn his skin more.
"Mikey, I know that okay, I know I've f*cked this up and now I'm trying to fix that! I'd appreciate it if you could just be the supporting brother rather then the a**hole!" He hissed back.
"Gerard no- you don't deserve my support. I called her a lot while she was still living with you. I was there for her. That should have been you. It should've been you that did all the things we did with her but you weren't. Even when dad taught her how to ride a bike, you just sat there and ignored that smile on her face and ignored that beautiful laughter and enjoyment. You're the world's sh*ttiest dad. You let her down time and time again. You keep acting like Lindsey's death just affected you like no body else was hurt. I get it, you lost your wife and your son meanwhile Bandit lost her mother, her brother and a f*cking father on top of that! We were the ones who had to pick up the peices and put them together but the peices didn't f*cking fit." I explained getting progressively more angry as my words spilled so fast and fluent.
"What do you want me to do Mikey, I can't change the past but I'm trying to fix the future?" He spat back.
"Guys yelling at eachother isn't going to bring her back." Frank chipped in but it only agrovated me further.
(I've just been listening to 'Brother' while writing that. Whoops)
"Well no sh*t Frank." I hissed.
"Mikey- come on!" Gerard barked as if I were the 5 year old here.
"I'm done with the both of you. She needed your help and your support. Gerard you shouldn't have let this happen in the first place and for f*cks sakes Frank, passing her on when it was you she trusted, you she thought cared about her-" I began but was cut off.
"Mikey don't you even dare say that I don't care about her, don't even think that for a single motherf*cking second! I love her as if she was one of my own and I care for her like she practically is one of my own. Don't try to give me the bullsh*t of not caring! We did what we could at least we were available to her and there for her instead of hiding far away like you ever done. We tried to bring them together and at least get them to talk, that's all it was- we weren't going to let him take her after all of this time-" Frank warned before he too was eventually cut off by Gerard who stood quickly from his seat.
"I'm sorry -what? SHE'S MY KID, YOU CAN'T STOP ME FROM TAKING HER!" He yelled out turning against his friend. Now all three of us were stood up and we're outraged by eachother.
"F*ck the both of you! I'm going to Ray's to sort this out because clearly you're too busy b*tching to eachother and if you turn this against me one more time you're only proving my point to its maximum." I sighed sliding on a pair of shoes and leaving them in the living room to boil; "show your selves out." I spat one final time before exiting my own house, climbing into my car and starting the engine.
~~~time jump to the next day in California lands with Bandit and Asher and everybody- woop woop~~~
{Asher's P.O.V}
Bandit and I were out in town, driving around in uncle Andy's truck I've borrowed. We were rocking out to some Pierce the Veil, screaming at the top of our lungs when the cd stopped and regular radio programmes interrupted with words that sent shivers down our spines:"A missing persons report has been filled for Miss Bandit Lee Way and Asher Preston from New Jersey. Bandit age 16 and Asher to be 17 in a weeks time. Here to talk more is her uncle Mikey Way and God Father, Ray Toro."
*idk if I gave him a last name so if I did and you remembered well you're clearly better then I am with this.The both of us were corrupted with silence as we sat stiff. My grip on the wheel tightened until my knuckles turned a pale shade of white meanwhile the only movement Bee made was to turn it up a little, jerking her eyes from their previous fixed position to the radio set.
"So Mikey, tell us more about your neice." The interviewer asked beginning the terms of the report.
"Bandit is the best neice a guy could get. She's the best: she's so beautiful and kind and sweet to everyone." He answered, his voice ringing with hapiness.
"When was the last time you saw her Ray?" She asked again changing her direction.
"About a month ago; her 16th birthday party at her other God Father's place -Frank Iero. Since then I haven't heard from her but we know she was in California with an old friend of ours."
"Yes, Bob Bryar- we saw his tweet. Could you please explain what he meant by saying that?" And here is the interviewer trying to get enough of a decent scoop out of this blown out of proportion situation.
"Err no- no look, I just want my neice back, okay? Please, she means the world to us and a lot has happened- I just want to know that she's doing okay, please." Mikey hesitated a little, stumbling at first his voice full of worry.
"There is a picture of her going around many social media platforms- if anybody has seen her, please just call in." Ray this time pitches in fulfilling the role of the sane and 'the strong one'.
"And what would you say to her right now?" Really lady? Are you frigging serious?
"If you're out there, please Bandit- just call us. Let us know you're alright. You don't have to come home, just please- tell us you are okay, please!" Mikey hitched tugging on Bandit's tears from beside me as she focused on the dial of the radio as if she was trapped in the very second.
"Lets help these guys out and bring her home. And there we are, Mikey Way and Ray Toro on the disappearance of Bandit Lee Way. Asher's parents have not come forward but we do know that he is with her."
Well f*ck!
