○I'm not laughing, You're not joking, I'm not dead I only dress that way○
(A/N: the song doesn't have much relevance to the chapter but it's one of my favourite lines so, who cares)
{Frank's P.O.V}
"Frank, what are we going to do?" Jamia asked gently as she walked, mug in hand, out of the kitchen and into the living room to sit beside me. She left her mug on the coffee table and lay with her feet on my lap looking intensely at me. It was like 1:30, 2 hours until we went to pick Miles up and 1 hour 15 minutes until the twins would be back. And then there's Bandit who could walk through the door at anytime.As a natural instinct I tried to make a joke.
It was not well received though . . .
"Pay bills and taxes until we die where the kids will pick up the tab and pay the bills that come after we die." I added a smile to the end of it trying to be Mr funny guy but no-
The scowl, that scowl only women can do that have all power, all manipulation over mankind to bow down to their every command and serve as their, well, servant. The look, the dagger eyes that pierce holes in us ; you get the general gist - she wasn't happy.
"Okay, sorry ; what do you mean hunny?" I started with my hands in the air but dropped them midway, one in my pocket and the other grazing her thigh gently.
She returned with a slight smile before releasing a sigh and saying, "Frank, what are we going to do about Bandit? I love her, I really do; y'know she's family but- with the kids we made, we're struggling."
She was right, we hardly have time for all three kids at one time let alone bringing in Bandit. But like Jamia said, she's family and you don't kick family out of your house unless their being utter a**wholes. It's just she's got some stuff going on that she doesn't want to talk about I guess and we're just going to have to let her know that everything is going to be okay, maybe.
"Mhmm I know but, like you said, Bee is family - you help family out and no body gets left behind. We're just going to have to make do until she gets back on her feet." I explained.
(A/N: Anybody notice the slight Lilo and Stitch reference :p)
"I guess so-" she sighed gently, "Gerard better get his a** into gear before someone makes him. Does Mikes know she's here?" She added frustrated at first but then she managed to calm down after that.
"Ermm, I don't think so. Why, what are you thinking?"
"I don't know but I think he should know that his niece has left home and is now living with us." She explained reaching for her coffee and holding it tight in her hands.
"I hear ya. How about we invite them over for a couple hours? Dinner maybe?-" I started thinking of suggestions.
"Frank, we've just had a conversation about us struggling and you want to bring round more people?" Her face, painted with a smirk of which did not match with the raised I''m not impressed' eyebrows.
"Yeah okay. After dinner, Miles will be asleep the twins won't be up too much later so it'll just be the four of us and Bee. Okay?"
"Perfect!" This time she was pleased.
~~~
"Goodnight uncle Mikey." Miles hugged Mikey before turning to each of us to say goodnight then trundled off to his bedroom where Jamia followed.
Cherry was in the girls' room while Lily was in the living room sat beside me and where Jamia was moments ago on the sofa with Bandit on the chair in the corner, knees tucked up. Mikes and Alicia sat on the other sofa on the wall next to our sofa if that makes any sense.
