You have a daughter with Grayson called Alissa, OK? Good. BTW she's 16. -
I head the door silently shut as if someone was trying to sneak in. I nudged Grayson who was asleep on my shoulder and pointed to our daughter, Alissa who ran up the stairs covering her face.
We both looked at each other with the same confused and concerned face.
We quietly went up the stairs and stood outside her door, not wanting her to know we're here.
We heard very loud sniffles. Grayson looked at me and opened the door.
"Baby girl are you ok?" We stood in the doorway not wanting to go in just in case we upset her further.
"Harvey broke up with me." She spluttered and we both rushed to her side and engulfed her in a hug. "He said I'm too clingy." Her year folw increased and she cuddled up against both me and Grayson.
"Princess he doesn't deserve you. Jokes on him for loosing your awesome ass." I whispered in her ear holding her tight.
"Alissa you're too good for him. I never liked him much anyway." Grayson chuckled making her laugh too.
"But you're dad dumped me when we were younger now look where we are." I said picking out the positives.
"Really?" She asked looking up with a smile.
"Yes really. Things happen for a reason. You've just got to take it with a pinch of salt and move on because you never know what might come from it." Grayson kissed her on the forehead then put it arm around Alissa and me.
"How about you invite your friends over for a girls night or whatever just to take your mind off things." I suggested and Alissa nodded her head vigorously.
"Good. You call your friends and me and mom will be downstairs." We both gave her a high five before going back down to the living room.
"I swear if someone breaks my daughters heart again I'll smash their face in."

On another note, people at school kept asking why there's an A on my hand and an A on my necklace . It's an A forAmelia, not my crush whose name begins with an A.🙂🙂🙃🙃
