I nodded my head listening to Doctor Mead, grabbing the clipboard in my hands and shuffled into the hallway out of the break room. Medical staff were running up and down the hallways always in a rush. It's a normal sight
My heart started beating fast just thinking about him. I just found out his name was August West: Chris' older brother and the alpha of the infinite pack.
I take a deep breath before entering the hospital room, the heart monitor filled the small empty room which occupied the fierce alpha who was laying motionless on the large bed, his strong chest rose and fell slowly.
I slowly shuffled my way closer to my mate--gripping the clipboard tighter. I glanced at the heart monitor and began to write down the stats with my black pen. I feel one of my dark curls get pulled and stretched resulting it to spring back up, a small chuckle filled the room. I would listen to him laugh all day, if i could.
I blush and turn back around to see August leaning back on his elbows looking up at me with a small smirk on his face.

"You having fun there?" I asked raising an eyebrow at him trying to hide my beaming smile.
A smile grew on his face as soon as those words came out, "You have a beautiful voice: it's so smooth and velvety."
I blushed and looked down at my shoes but he placed two fingers under my chin making looking in his gorgeous brown eyes, "Shiloh you need to stop looking down, you have the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen."
"How do you know my name?"
"I know everyone in my pack: even new members like yourself plus it says on your name tag." He shrugged pointing to the name tag on the right side of my chest making blush in embarrassment.
I just got lost in his eyes: they were the perfect shade of brown with little specks of green and gold inlaced in them.
"Shiloh, Is everything going alright?" I hear Dr. Mead announce from the frame of the door snapping me back into reality
"Yeah, I'm almost done." I answered quickly writing down information
"Okay meet me back at my office when your done, I have a little gift for your great work." He smiled brightly before disappearing leaving us alone again
