Shiloh Paige;

"You better not push me in."

August just chuckled, shaking his head at me, "I'm not going to Shiloh."

I just squinted my eyes suspiciously at him, watching him closely before sitting on the plush grass of the lake. I looked down at the almost clear water, watching as it softly rippled from the light wind; I spotted a few small fish.

I was just amazed.

"It must be cool to come here all the time when you're younger." I stated leaning my head on his shoulder as he nodded smiling.

"Yeah, Chris and I use to come here all the time when my parents would fight. We would always swim here or just look at the water. We even named some of the fish." August smiled pointing at a large red koi fish swim in front of us

"His name is frank, or was that frank?" He furrowed his brows together pointing to an identical one swimming next to the previous.

I giggled shaking my head, "those are both girls, they are little plumper than males."

His laughed pulling me onto his lap, leaning his head on my shoulder; "Thank the moon goddess,
that I have you. "

I gently rubbed his stubbled cheek with my thumb: his brown orbs searched my entire face.

"Why do you always look at me like that?" I asked pushing a piece of hair behind my ear

"Because I love looking at you, I'm just wondering how can the moon goddess create something to fucking beautiful."  He whispered in awe making me feel my cheeks start to heat up

"I love you so damn much Shiloh."

"I love me too."

August gave me a small glare making me smile, "Fine, I love you and me."

"That's better." He whispered grabbing
my waist so I was closer
to him and inhaled my scent

I hear fallen leaves and small sticks break behind me, indicating someone was approaching us. August growled at the unknown presence;

I then see Chris walk out from a tree: he wore a grey Stanford sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head and his hands were in the pocket.
"I've been looking all over for you guys, Conner told me that girl was here for Shiloh."
