"I still don't get this shit."

"Maybe because you keep texting someone on your phone and won't listen to me." I stated glaring at Chris and grabbing his phone out of his large tattooed hands and placing it in my
sweatshirt pocket.

"Hey! My phone--"

"I legit when over this whole chapter six times for you, but I'll do it one more time."I sighed before yawning, reaching for my third cup of coffee.

"No you won't."
We both look up to see August standing behind me with baggy grey Nike sweatpants and a skin tight black shirt: showing off his body.

"Yeah I will, Chris still doesn't understand this chapter--" I defended him but was cut
short by my mate.

"Fuck Chris." August simply stated making his brother shout out in anger but he didn't care and just kept jabbing at me, "Do you know what
time it is?"

I rolled my eyes at him while taking a sip of the freshly brewed coffee, "Yeah, 11:00 pm."

"No, it's 4 in the morning Shiloh. Just get some sleep and then finish after; I'm pretty sure Chris wants his beauty sleep." He jeered pointing to his brother who was swaying in his chair:
trying hard  to not fall asleep.

Wow, we've been here for 5 hours,

I let out a frustrated sigh before nodding, I grab all of my stuff before saying goodbye to Chris, then leaving Chris' room with august. We walked to our room in silence, I tried to keep my eyes open as I set my books down on the desk in the room
beginning to start studying.

"Hey no no no." August stoped me and slamming the textbook shut making me jump

I wiped my tired eyes while opening it back up, "what are you doing?"

He sucked his teeth, "You are going to
sleep right now, I can see you're tired."

"No I'm not, I just need one more cup of coffee. I'll just go grab one--" I began but couldn't finish because I started to dose off.

"I swear to moon goddess, you are going to sleep whether you like it or not." He demanded picking me up bridal style and placing me on the soft bed, it feels like a cloud. The scent of August overwhelmed me making me smile. He jumped right next to me and pulling me close to him, his heat radiated off making me snuggle closer to him.

"You promise you will never leave me."
I whispered tracing the scar he still
had from the surgery, feeling him shiver
slightly at the touch.

"I will never leave you."

"Come on love birds! Get up!"

I hugged myself closer to August: hoping to tone out Lea's voice. He growled lowly making me smack him in the chest, picking my head up to glare at him.

"You are lucky she is your friend." He jeered before slapping a pillow over his face.

"Good you guys are awake!" She smiled before jumping on our bed making the whole
mattress bounce. She ripped the blanket off us making both of us sit up and glare at her: August looked like he was about to kill her because his eyes were flickering back fro

m brown to onyx black.

"You better control her Shiloh, before I do and I'm pretty sure you won't like the result of it." He threatened making me gulp

"Yo, what's up with your eyes; are you possessed or something?" Lea coughed making me rub his back soothingly and leaning over to whisper
in his ear.

"Let me deal with her." I whispered kissing his neck before grabbing her wrist and pulling her off the bed, throwing August a small smile before opening the door to the hallway. His eyes were slowly changing back to their original brown color;

"What's his problem?" Lea scoffed crossing her arms while leaning back against the wall, I just stuffed my sweatshirt pocket with my hands.

"You do know it's kinda rude to just burst into our room, especially regarding the fact he's an alpha and can easily kick you out of this pack." I spoke gingerly making her roll her eyes at my words.

"I'm not good with authority, he can kick me out of this pack; I don't give a shit--"

"But I do, I want you here with me. You are all I have left." I reminded her with my voice cracking slightly at the end. Her hard eyes softened,

She let out a sigh before nodding ,"Fine, but for you I'll be more respectful to him,but that doesn't mean I like him."

I squealed before grabbing her into a tight hug making her burst into giggles, "Thank you Lea, I love you both so much."

"I love you too Shi."

I suddenly remembered something from yesterday, I pulled back to look into her eyes; I squinted suspiciously at her, "Who was in you're
room yesterday?"

Her eyes went wide before looking down, her face had a huge giddy smile, " No one."

"I heard another voice."

"I was just sleep taking--you know I'm always talking, I just can't stop."

Lies.

I just nodded my head: still looking at her suspiciously, "Okay that seems believable."

"There's breakfast downstairs by the way." Lea replied before scrambling to the elevator

She's up to something.

"What's up with her, she's all smiley and suspicious?" I announced closing the door behind me to see August laying there
looking up at the ceiling.

"I don't know and don't give a shit. Come back to bed." He groaned patting the space next to him, I smiled softly before sliding next to him: resting my head on his chest while he played with my hair.

This is so peaceful.

The bedroom door slams open making me groans and August scream, "What now!"

Chris comes in a little sweaty and with two hickeys on his neck, "August you have a meeting
in 10 minutes."

"It looks like you've been busy." I smirked sitting up making him blush before running out of the room.

"You really need to get a lock."
I said turning to him.

"I do, Chris broke it four weeks ago."
