Jace POV

I left the kitchen just out side the door, I was about to talk to my mum on the phone when I heard Scar’s dad talking to her

“Have you told him Scar?”

“no if I did do you think he would still be here now?” Scar questioned back

“think positive dear he will probably still love you because of the bond” Her mum said

I shook my head confused and  then called my mum

“hey mum” I answered as she picked up on the 3rd ring

“hey sweetie, are you ok?” she questioned worriedly

“I’m fin mum-“ she cut me off

“are you sure if you need I can come and get you or is scar hurt I’ll help jest tell me!” my mum screamed

“mum calm down!” I shouted back “I’m fine, Scar is fine. We are still at her house, I just met her mum and dad and they invited me to dinner so I was just telling you”

“ok that’s fine, I’ll make dinner!” she chirped back happily

“NO!” I screamed “mum I don’t want you to make dinner again after what happened last time!” I tell her sternly

“b-but that was one time, I promise it won’t happen again!”

“mum you did it again last time I went out and I trusted you again and the same thing happened, dad will hate me if we have to redecorate the kitchen, AGAIN!!” I said

“Pweese” she begged down the phone

“No if I find out you did cook I will take all of your magazines away and you wont be able to watch 16 and pregnant for a week” I told as if I was telling a child off

“OK I PROMISE I WONT DON’T DO THAT TO MY MAGAZINES AND 16 AND PREGNANT!!!” my mum cried from the other end of the phone

“ok then mum I’ll see you later”

“bye sweetie, I love you” she said

“yeah mum, love you too” I said with a sigh

I walked back into the kitchen to see Scar, her brothers and mum and dad all looking at me like I had pink hair clown shirt and enflatable pants on

“What?” I questioned

“are you sure you were talking to your mum?” a blond hair blue eyed boy, looked like Scott her twin asked shocked

“yeah, she’s not quite your normal mum and she acts like a teenager all the time and goes into mum mode rarely” I say casually

“I think I like your mum” Scars mum, Emma said

I smile and shake my head “my mum will love you and the easiest way for her to love you faster is if you can cook, like magazines and watch 16 and pregnant”

“OMG I LOVE ALL THAT!!!!, See Scar I can make friends” her mum said to Scar

“sure mum” Scar said sarcastically

We all went up stairs and mum and dad went into the kitchen and then we lounge and her brothers interrogated me

“how old are you?” Jake asked

“17”

“are you emo or like my sister?” Tyler asked this time
