Chapter Five

Jace POV

As I was driving home I had the feeling someone was watching me, glaring daggers into the back of my head, but if just kept going thinking nothing of it.

When I arrived home I walked in to see my mum sitting in front of the TV with a dominos pizza box on her lap as she slept in front of the TV. I walked towards her and moved the pizza box off her lap. I picked her up gently bridal style with he head on my shoulder. I carried her up to bed and slid her under the cold covers.

“night mum” I whisper as I shut the door behind me.

I walk down stairs and turn the TV off before I go back up turning lights off as I go.

I walk into my bedroom and strip down to me boxers before sliding under my duvet.

As I was drifting off I heard the beautiful howl of a wolf in the woods, the sound calmed me down as I fell into the black depths of sleep.

{Next Day}

I was late. I forgot to turn my alarm clock on last night as I came home. I run to the shower and am in and out in 5 minutes. I run to my wardrobe and pull on my Black skinnies that have my chains on that make a noise as they hit each other, I pull on a tight black top that hugs my muscles. I put my other set of rings in and put on my eyeliner. I sort my hair out so that it perfectly covers my eye and slip my headphones around my neck and I pull on my black converse. I run down stairs and see my mum reheating the pizza from last night

“hey mum” I say as I walk over and hug her “how was your night?  No fires I see” I joked

“haha but yeah it was alright. What about you and Scar last night?”

I blush as I think about how last night ended “it was great mum and her mum and dad really want to meet you they sound you sounded really cool.” I tell he smiling as I see her jump up and down in excitement

“and I wont be home after school as Scar needs to tell me something and invited me back to her house to tell me…well not house, more like mansion, it has 10 floors and 50 bedrooms all with bathrooms and they live in a little secluded area and it is soo cool mum.”

My mum gasped “she lives in a mansion!?”

“Yeah” I say

“OK, but don’t use her for her money” she warned

“Mum yesterday I told you I loved her before I saw her house.” I say as I blush “and yesterday when we were swimming I kinda sorta asked her to be my girl friend” I whisper

“OMG!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!! MY BABY’S ALL GROWN UP!!!!!!!!!” she cries and then breaks down crying and sobbing to herself about how much I have grown up and how she is loosing her little baby boy

“OK well mum I gotta go to school so ill see you later” I say as I kiss her forehead and walk out the door to my bike.

I rod to school as normal and just like yesterday as I pulled into the school everyone was looking at me. As I pulled my helmet off Scar, Scott, Tom and Tyler pulled up next to me.

We all seemed to pull our helmets off in sink with each other and the exact same timing as we sorted out our hair. The boys then walked off leaving me and Scar as we pulled on out skull candies and took in each others out fits. The same black skinnies and chains, black tops but hers is a tank top and mine is a normal t-shirt, converse but mine are black and hers are red and thick eyeliner. I smile at her as she steps closer and slides her small hand into mine
