Chapter Four
Scarlett POV
After dinner we all went and sat in the living room where dad had set the fire going. For a while we all just sat there hypnotised by the dancing flames that were licking the wood until it was dark brown and black. I look to my right and watch the reflection of the dancing flames in Jace’s eyes. He must have felt my gaze as he shifter his eyes till they were gazing into mine, capturing me in the emerald green eyes that are shining in the light.
“What did I do to deserve you?” he whispers questioningly and he gazes at me in awe.
“I don’t deserve you, you deserve the world and more” I whisper back even though I know my whole family can hear.
“You are my world and more than I can imagine” He whispers and then leans in and kisses me gently leaving no room for me to argue with what he says. He pulls back slightly and looks at me and smiles his dazzling smile that could have me do anything he wanted if he flashed me that smile.
At 10 Jace looks at his phone and says he has to go. I walk him to the door and we step out side and onto our bikes.
“You don’t have to show me out of her you know” he says to me
“I know but I want to” I say and smile at him
We both drive slowly to the gate and there we both get off out bikes at the gate and walk closer to each other
“I wish you didn’t have to go” I whisper as out foreheads touch
“I wish I didn’t either but I have to check on my mum” he whispers back
I take a deep breath letting his intoxicating scent fill my lungs, should I tell him I am a werewolf soon? I question my self until I come to a decision.
I breath in deeply preparing my self about what I’m about to say
“Tomorrow after school I want to tell you something so do you want to meet me here tomorrow or we drive here together after school?” I say
“We can drive her together after school together” he says gently “what ever it is cant be that bad, can it?” he questions
“It depends on how you look at it” I whisper “so I’ll se you at school tomorrow and then we’ll drive here ok” Jace says smiling at me gently and caringly
I nod, our foreheads are still touching sending shocks through my body.
He lean in and kisses me gently and then the heat starts to build up, he licks my bottom lip asking for entrance, our tongues fighting each other for dominance. My arms are around his neck and my fingers are gripping and tugging his hair making him moan. One of his hands are in my hair, the other wrapped around my waist bringing me as close as I can get to him. We pull away, gasping for much needed air.
Jace looks at his phone
“I really have to go” he says sounding really depressed
“tell your mum hi when you see her” I say as we break apart.
“ I will, bye Scar” he says gently
“Bye Jace”
Unknown POV
I watch as they break apart after they attacked each others faces.
“She is meant to be mine!!!” My wolf howls in anger
“She will be soon just give her a little more time, just so that he will break her heart and we can go and steal her heart” I say fiercely back to him although my anger just keeps building
“That’s what you said last year, and the year before and the year before, WHEN WILL SHE BE MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” My wolfs anger egging me on
“Last year I was still just the little boy with no muscles that is in her dads pack that she used to be friends with. Now I am the strong werewolf she has always wanted, not that disgusting human!” I roar at him in anger
He whimpers at my tone
Watch out Human because I always get what I want. And Scarlett is what I want!!!
