Chapter Seven

Jace POV

I woke up. My body screaming in pain as I opened my eyes and the sunlight burned my eyes making me flinch making my body scream in pain all over making me whimper and a tear to slip out of my eye. I look to my left and there was a heart rate monitor that made annoying noises and then I look to my right and see my beautiful angles face as she sleeps on the chair with her hand in my own.  I hear the door open and I see a muscularly boy walk in with a determined look on his face. He had blond hair and blue eyes that glared at me as I sat in the bed confused.

“urmmm, hi, who are you?” I questioned, confused

“I am here to kill you as I seemed to fail to do so last time. I have been on the run for 4 days since I shot you with the light and I have been running and hiding from her dad and the pack-”  Fear coursed through my body but quickly changed as I heard what he said.

“WAIT…. 4 days? I’ve been out for 4 days?” I whisper brokenly as a tear falls out of my eye and races down my face

“Why are you crying?” he asks confused

“I have missed 4 days of my life, 4 days of not seeing my family, or Scar or even telling my mum off for staying up late because she is watching 16 and pregnant” I whisper even more brokenly as I think of my mum

The guy sighs “Yeah, Yeah 4 days you missed a lot anyway as I was saying. Why couldn’t you have just died when I shot you with the beam and poison?!  I have wanted Scar since before I can remember, I remember her memories with me better than the ones I have with my family. I love her so much but she only ever saw me as a friend, nothing more. But once you are dead and gone she, she is going to want a shoulder to cry on and that will be me and then she will fall in love with me all over again.”  He smirked at me

“Wait… who are you?”

“James Brown, she might have mentioned me” he said sounding confident

“Urmm, no, she never mentioned you, although she did say she went out with a small boy called James and he was her best friend but that was all she felt towards him”

“That’s me” he said confidently

“no, it can’t be she described him as small, weak and muscle less but he was a great friend which she never wants to loose” I said recalling the memory

“I am not weak now, I was then but not any more, I worked hard for a body like this so Scar could love me-“

“She wants the mind and personality of a person and not the amazing body and as dumb as a crayon” I say quoting her

“SHUT UP, I’M MEANT TO BE KILLING YOU!!!”

“The louder you shout the more likely she is going to wake up” I stated rolling my eyes

“Fine how do you want to die?” he asked in all serious

“When I cant feel it, surrounded by my friends and family” I state “but  you cant do that cus then they will know that it was you who killed me…….Sucks to be you” I say

Scar started waking up

“I’ll be back” James said

“Bye then terminator” I say sarcastically as he slips out the door

“who are you talking to babes?” Scar mumbled

Suddenly her eyes widened and she squealed so loud a nurse ran in as Scar hugged me and kissed every part of my face and smiled her 1000 watt smile at me.
