When the pair were greeted by Bib Fortuna, Padmé reached for her blaster but Luke just waved his hand and told him,
"You will take us to your master."
Padmé didn't know much Huttese, despite Anakin attempting to teach her, but she did recognize a Jedi mind trick. She listened as Luke continued on the weak minded Twi'lek,
"You serve your master well, you will be rewarded."
Padmé watched along with Luke as Jabba yelled at his easily manipulated worker, she also observed a young girl on a chain in a rather disgusting outfit. The Hutt's shouts were broken by a familiar voice,
"Oh it's Master Luke! I knew he would come and rescue me!"
Threepio?! How did he get here, and how does he know Luke? Why doesn't he notice me?
Padmé was brought back to reality by Luke and Jabba's conversation.
"You will bring Captain Solo and the Wookie to me."
Padmé knew that Jabba was too strong to fall for that, she was seemingly confirmed by the Hutt himself when he uttered something and refused to bring anyone out.
"Nevertheless, I'm taking Captain Solo and his friends. You can either profit by this or be destroyed! It's your choice. But I warn you not to underestimate my powers."
Wow that sounds like something Anakin would say, not only that but he used a mind trick. What's going on here?
Padmé heard something over the Hutt's boisterous laughter, Threepio was trying to warn about-
Suddenly Padmé lost her footing, along with Luke, as they fell through the floor into a deep pit.
"Hey Padmé, are you alright? I guess Jabba has a few tricks up his sleeve."
"Yes, unfortunately."
The large gate opened as a giant monster let out a terrifying roar.
"You don't happen to still have that blaster by any chance Padmé?"
