The group soon reached the wreck site, only for a familiar feeling of dread start to overtake Padmé's mind,

No! She silently snapped, I need to stay hopeful...at least for Luke!

Padmé's eyes slowly focused on her son as he searched around a bit farther away,

He's hurting so much, none of this can be easy on him...I just met Leia and it's tearing me up!

"Luke! Luke!" Han's voice rang through the forest, jolting Padmé out of her thoughts.

Following closely behind Luke as he passed by her, Padmé listened as Threepio greeted them with the grim news.

"Oh, Master Luke and Miss Padmé, I'm afraid Artoo's sensors can find no trace of Princess Leia."

"I hope she's alright," Han glared at Padmé.

Although the anger was insurmountable, Padmé needed to keep her composure,

Arguing won't find her any faster, stay calm Padmé, stay calm-

Suddenly, Chewbacca growled loudly as he smelled the surrounding air.

"What, Chewie?" Han desperately asked, "What? Chewie?!"

Chewbacca barked loudly and took off running further into the forest, the others following the Wookiee closely as they reached a clearing.

"I don't get it!" Han shouted as they reached a stake.

Confused, everyone else looked around until Han saw it,

"Nah, it's just a dead animal, Chewie."

Unfortunately, Chewbacca already knew exactly what it was. Growling loudly as he attempted to snatch the free meal, Luke shouted out in immediate protest,

"Chewie, wait! Don't-"

As the animal was plucked from stake, a net suspended everyone high above the ground. Ending the vow of silence, Artoo let loose an extremely harsh set of beeps and whistles.

"Artoo, you go into space regularly so this should be nothing!"  Padmé shouted over everyone at the droid.

"Way to go Chewie," Han yelled, "always thinking with your stomach!"

"Will you all take it easy?!  Let's just figure a way to get out of this thing."  Luke attempted to free an arm, but to no avail.  "Alright, Padmé can you reach my lightsaber?"

Padmé was struggling not to be crushed, but she still tried to reach it.

"I almost have it."

Sadly, Artoo couldn't wait for his master's plan.  Being on the very bottom, he decided to start cutting.  Threepio noticed his counterpart's shenanigans and was determined to give his two cents,

"Artoo, I'm not sure that's a good idea.  It's a very long dro-o-op!"  He shouted as the net snapped.

As everyone sat up, disoriented from the fall (and possible concussions), they realized that the empire might not have been the only threat on the planet. Miniature aliens surrounded them all, each one brandishing a primitive spear. Han was quite annoyed as he pushed back one of the spears away.

"Hey! Point that thing someplace else," he demanded.

The creature angrily pointed it back at Han's face as another reached for his pistol,

"Hey!" Han batted it away, only for Luke to reprimand him.

"Han don't, it'll be alright."

"Are you sure?" Padmé questioned her son. Luke sent a calming smile her way, much like his father would have, calming most of her worries.

Suddenly, Threepio sat up as well.

"Oh, my head. Oh, my goodness!" He complained.

The creatures spoke amongst themselves, soon dropping their spears as the chanted at the droid.

"Do you understand what their saying?" Luke questioned.

"Oh yes, Master Luke! Remember that I'm fluent in-"

"So, what exactly are they saying?" Padmé interrupted, having heard his speech far too many times.

"Well, Miss Padmé, I believe they think I'm some sort of God, however, I could be mistaken. They are using a very ancient like dialect."

After exchanging a few glances, Han spoke up.

"Why don't you use your divine influence and get us out of this?"

"I beg your pardon, General Solo, but it just wouldn't be proper."

"Proper?!" Han argued back in shock.

"It's against my programming to impersonate a deity."

Anakin! Padmé fought hard not to reveal Threepio's override code, but Han decided to lash out instead, earning the spears of the protective creatures.

"My mistake. He's an old friend of mine."

All of a sudden, several of them emerged carrying long poles and rope. Luke once again reminded everyone to stay calm as they were being tied to the poles. The only ones spared were Threepio and Padmé, much to their surprise. Walking alongside the ones carrying Threepio, she quietly asked the droid.

"Hey Threepio, do you know why they didn't tie me up?"

"Well, I believe that they said something about your appearance being familiar. Though they also mentioned that there wasn't much rope, so it may have been that as well."

So. Much. Help.
