Battle On the Sand Barge

While riding on the sand barge, Han attempted to alleviate the tension a bit.

"I think my eyesight's getting better, instead of a large dark blob I see a large white blob."

Padmé noticed how Luke didn't even respond, he was focused on something important it seemed. Jabba's followers partied loudly, much to everyone's annoyance, yet Luke still didn't seem bothered. She sighed and started thinking herself,

What's going on? How did I even get here, and why hasn't anyone tried to contact me? I just don't understand, too many things aren't adding up. And what about the supposed Skywalker and Jedi, Luke? Ani would have told me about him if he was at the temple-

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sudden stop of the barge. Before she knew it, the group was moved over to the edge. Luke stood on a small plank as they prepared to push him in to the monster below. Padmé's mind exploded when she realized that there was nothing she could do to help. She was unarmed, restrained by guards, and couldn't come up with a plan fast enough. She was on the verge of tears at the thought of Luke being pushed in, and she couldn't stop them.

Luckily, Luke smiled as he called out,

"Now Artoo!"

Padmé turned around to see her husband's droid launch something into the air, her eyes followed it as it landed in Luke's grasp. The green blade quickly sliced through a nearby guard as entire battle broke out. Another guard took off his mask and started attacking more of Jabba's men, the Wookie and the blind man joined the fray as well. Not wanting her to miss out, Luke tossed a blaster from one of the downed guards Padmé's way and then continued the onslaught. Padmé shot at the Mandalorian bounty hunter, only for Han to beat her to the final shot. The fake guard shouted a warning to him,

"Watch out! It's Boba Fett!"

"Boba Fett?! Where?"

He damaged the jetpack and it short circuited causing the bounty hunter to take off and slam into the side of the barge, he then tumbled into the awaiting pit below.  Despite being in the middle of a huge battle, Padmé found herself laughing at the circumstances of Boba Fett's death.  She just couldn't help herself, however, she immediately had to resume the fight when another minion attempted to ambush her from behind. After dealing with him, she made her way to Jabba himself. Expecting a fight she readied her blaster, only to find his enormous corpse. The slave girl from earlier ran to meet Padmé,

"I took care of the leader, so the army should fall. By the way, have we met before?"

Padmé shook her head and noticed the puzzled look on the girl's face.

"Really, when I saw you with Luke...never mind my name is Leia Organa."

Padmé was once again taken aback,

Bail doesn't have a daughter name Leia, maybe it's a different family. Still, first a Skywalker now an Organa! What's going on?

Leia's prediction was soon proven true as the few still living creatures jumped ship when the loss of their boss was reported. The party escaped the barge as well and headed towards freedom.
