I need you like oxygen,
every glance a fresh breath,
clearing out my lungs,
flying through my head.

I need you like water,
every word a cold swallow,
waking me up to reality,
making me see you.

I need you as much as I need friends,
a support stand I demand,
someone I look up to,
your image filling my eyes.

I need you so much,
words may not describe,
I need you more than oxygen,
I need you more than life.

I need you,
I need you,
so much it hurts,
but I know one thing is true:

You don't need me,
as I need you.
