I figure,
'Wow, I've been replaced!'I do so with a bitter smile,
one that shows the pain within,
one that shows the joy without.I figure,
'There's no need for me forevermore.'I do so with a bow,
to do so without falling, I don't know how,
I excuse myself hither tether, then go on to walk out.I figure,
'I'm an unwanted thing.'I accept.it with a pleasure,
A delve in the depths of darkness,
A delve into the waters of loneliness.I figure,
'Goodbye.'I'd shout it with a cry,
To do so I'd need a why,
And a when and a where and a how,I figure,
'It's easier to cry.'I fall down ever quickly,
I smile bittersweetly,
Reminiscing oh, so meekly.I figure,
'Oh, don't fret.'I do so with a smile,
I'll be remembered as I've been replaced,
I will lay down with my peace.I figure,
'It's easier to disappear.'I do so without turning,
Not knowing death is lurking,
