I'm a psychopath,
pain numbing me,
my wrists burning
from invisible scars.

I'm a psychopath,
I feel no shame,

from all the things said,
there wasn't a gain.

I'm a psychopath,
it's impossible to lie,

I don't feel anything inside,
yet I still want to go cry.

I'm a psychopath,

I copy emotions,
I play them as my own,

but I can't feel a thing at all.

I'm a psychopath,
I will not succumb,
no, I'm stronger than that,
it's why I feel so numb.

I'm a psychopath,
I can't feel a single thing,
and yet despite all that I say,
why are my tears still running?
