Glass Emotions: The Calm

It came out of me, blooming,
not a flower, but something glooming.

Pain burst through my fingers,
through my eyes, through my soul.

Betrayal felt in every corner,
logic pushed to the side.

Then calm comes over,
logic fights through.

Forgiveness is acted,
I start to act understandingly.

Now mad at myself,
for letting myself go.

For letting go of the cap

of my glass emotions.
