Haylee's POV
I moved in with Paul and dad. I missed them a lot. I haven’t seen them since I was 12. I know about the legends, but I don’t think they are true. I had moved in about a week ago.
I was out exploring in the woods because Paul had to run some ‘errands’ until I heard a sound. Me being… well me I started getting paranoid. I was walking around cautiously when I bumped into someone.
“Oh, I’m so dearly sorry my fair maiden. What is a pretty young lady doing out here in the woods alone.” He said.
I noticed he had red eyes and pale skin. I slowly backed up until I hit a tree, and he held me against the tree and I felt his teeth around my neck.
“I’ll be quick, you won’t feel a thing.” He whispered against my neck. Before he got to do whatever he was going to do, a silver/gray bear? Came and attacked it. it all happened so fast, before the bear ran away I got a good look of it. It wasn’t a bear it’s a wolf. An oversized wolf with familiar eyes. A few minutes after it ran away, Paul came out of the trees and comforted me. Then he took me to Emily and Sam’s house and told me about the legends and how they’re true.
