"Who's excited for Christmas?"
Asked Eren as he, Armin, Mikasa, Blake and Y/N walked throught the hallways. The five of them walked and talked about Christmas, and asked each other if they were getting the others gifts. "Hm, I don't know who to get what." Y/N said, folding her arms thinking about it, "Well, just get something that might mean something to them. Like, Armin loves books so get him a book." Blake said, "He wouldn't want a book.. He would want a library." Y/N joked, the others laughed a little as they walked outside.
Outside there was a light layer of snow covering the ground with a lot of footprints in the snow. The group walked a little outside before Eren asked what where they doing outside, "We," Y/N said whilst putting her arm around Blakes shoulders, "Have something to show you lot." Blake sighed and Y/N grined. Little did the others know but Blake and Y/N had been training together other the past week.
Y/N walked away from the others until she was roughly 15 metres away, "Ready?" She shouted, Blake took a step back, wings out and ready, "Ready!" she shouted back.
Y/N started running towards the group, gaining a lot of speed. Blake slowly walked forwards, here wings flapping slowly, but picking up some wind. When the two where about 7 metrtes from each others they turned into the animal forms. A cat and a crow. Blake flew over Y/N and turned around, slowly lowing herself down to the ground. Y/N slowed down a little before jumping. Blake grabbed Y/N mid-air as she turned around and flew away.
"Ok, whaaaat?" Eren said, Armin and Mikasa just stared as Blake and Y/N flew away. The trio didn't know what to say or do, so they want back inside.
Blake and Y/N flew over the snow covered land, enjoying the view of the winter wonderland.
--Y/N P.O.V--
Me and Blake landed not to from from the training grounds, "I can't believe that worked." Blake said with a smile, "Yeah, but come on let's go get some breakfast." I said. We back to the messhall to see the special ops sqaud putting up blue and white tinsel across the beams in the roof, "Oi, what's going on?" I asked, looking around to see more decorations, "Oh, Y/N!" Petra said, "We asked of we could put up a few decorations around the castle, and the Commander said we could." I nodded, having g a look at all the different colours and decorations.
There were cut out of snowflakes on the walls with small trees and snowman dotted about on the bottom of the walls, as well as green tinsel wrapped around the beams from the floor to the celling. On the tables were small ornaments in the shape of reindeer, looking up at the celling, the squad had threaded the tinsel to look the Wings of Freedom.
"Wow." I said looking at it, "Hey Y/N." Petra said, I looked at her, "I was wondering if you and Blake could go in town and get us these items?" She handed me a piece of paper with food items written on it, "Sure." I gave the list to Blake as we started making away to town, "So we need: A turkey, Stuffing, Sausage, Bacon, A Christmas Pudding, Mice pies and Gingerbread Men." Blake said reading the list out loud, "Alright let's do this." I said.
As we walked into the snow covered town, we saw many people walking around looking for food, presents and other things. The two girls looked at the list once more, "You get the puddings, mice pies, gingerbread men and I'll get the rest. We meet up here then go back to the castle" Blake said handing me a small bag filled with money, I nodded as we walked away from each other.
Walked around, I saw all the different shops decorated differently. I walked past a bakery, in the windows were little gingerbread snowflakes and trees as well as tinsel. I walked into the bakery, the smell of freshly baked sweet and cookie filled the room. I walked towards the counter, "Hi, how can I help you?" The employee ask, "Um.. 40 gingerbread man, a pudding and 40 mice pie. Please." I said as they wrote down what I said, "What time will you come to pick them up?" They asked, I looked towards a clock on the wall behind them, it was 1pm, "Um.. 5:30pm." They smiled as the torn out a page with what I ask for on it, "OK, the will cost... £23.78." I took out the small bag full of money and quickly counted it. "Here, £25. Keep the change." I smiled a little as I put the money on the counter and left. I walked back to where you and Blake said you would meet.
When I got they, Blake was waiting for me whilst holding a white bag. "Hello, Y/N. I got the stuffing, sausage and beacon but I have to wait until 5 to the turkey." I nodded, "I have to wait until 5:30 to get the rest." I said as we walked out of town.
As we walked back to the castle it started to snow, I looked up, a single snowfalke landing on my nose, I looked at it for a second before it melted. Blake giggled as I gentally punched her arm in a playful way. We walked back in silence enjoying the falling snow.
