"hey kiddo, how ya feeling?" cameron asked waking me up. i opened my eyes slowly adjusting to the light.

"fine but do you know when hayes is suppose to come back?" i asked.

"yeah like next week sometime you don't have to go home if you don't wanna see him we can take care of him for you" he told me.

"i appreciate it cam but I think I should talk to him when he gets here about it. right now all I want is to see my baby Claire" I said to him.

"I'll go get her she's watching tv" cam said and ran upstairs.

So imma catch you up on the past seven months. After Hayes got home we got in a huge fight about the pictures we ended up breaking up so we got divorced and he gets Claire every other week.

I honestly never wanted this.

I loved him so much.

It's around five o'clock so I have to bring Claire over to his place in a few minutes.

Claire is four years old. "Claire sweetie are you ready to go to daddies?" I asked her.

"I don't wanna leave you mommy" she cried hugging me. I picked her up and kissed her head softly.

"Well I don't want you to go either but you have to see daddy, don't you miss him?" I asked her.

"No! I miss you with him at our house together every day!!" She sobbed in my arms.

She hasn't taken me and Hayes getting divorced very well.

"I'm sorry baby we had no choice" I whispered in her ear.

We drove over to Hayes house. Me and Claire walked to the door and I knocked three times and he answered.

"Hi" he said looking at me. "Hi, I have to go somewhere so.." I said. It's always awkward between us two.

"Goodbye Claire I'll see you soon alright?" I told her and hugged and kissed her.

"Bye mommy. I love you" she said.

"I love you more babygirl" I smiled and got in my car.

I drove over to Cameron's house.

"Hey baby sis" Cameron smiled and hugged me. "Hey, I just dropped Claire off what are we doing today?" I asked him. I hang out with them everyday when Claire is with Hayes because I don't have a boyfriend so I'm always bored.

"We were thinking to just watch movies and maybe go down to the beach later tonight if you will still be here?" Cameron said.

"I will let's go inside because I'm hungry" I said and we walked inside his apartment and I noticed a guy around my age he was cute sitting on the couch beside Nash.

He looked at me, I smiled at him and he smiled back.

"Hey guys.." I trailed off a bit.

"Hey your back yay missed ya Kylie" Taylor said walking over to me.

"Hey Tay" I smiled hugging him. He kissed my cheek and sat down beside that boy again. I walked up to my room and threw my bag on the bed.

There was a slight knock on the door even though it was open.

I turned and saw that cute boy standing there.

"Hi you can come in" I smiled.

"Hi, Kylie I guess?" He said back chuckling.

"Yeah it's Kylie, and you are?" I asked.

"Oh right my name is austin" he said.

"Well it is very nice to meet you Austin" I smiled. "You too Kylie there boring wanna just ditch them and go to the beach?" He asked.

"Sure let me grab my phone and we can head out" I said grabbing my phone and we walked down the street.

Hayes lived across from Cameron. He was outside talking on the phone when me and Austin passed.

He was staring at me and Austin as we passed.

"So tell me something about you?" He said.

"What do you wanna know?" I asked.

"Everything" he chuckled.

We found a table and sat down at Itami talked. "Well I'm not sure if your interested in single moms?" I said looking down thinking he would not like me.

He lifted my head up so I was facing his face again.

"I know that stuff about you, I know you have a daughter Claire and you and Hayes got a divorce" he said.

"I'm interested in you so don't worry" he smiled. "Really?" I asked. "Yes" he smiled.

"Your so beautiful I don't see how anybody couldn't be interested in you" he said making me blush.

"Thanks" I smiled.

"Maybe you would consider going to dinner with me on Tuesday?" He asked.

"I would love to" I said. "Great" he smiled.

It's now Monday and Claire is at school but of course Hayes brought her since she's with him.

It's like seven in the morning and I'm getting a call. I got out of bed and walked outside answering my phone not even looking at who it was calling.

"Uh hello?" I said. "Hi Kylie I know it's really early sorry about that but I was wandering if we could talk? Claire's at pre school so can we meet up and talk?" He asked. It was Hayes.

"Hayes..I don't wanna get back together" I said.

"No no it's something else I wanna talk to you about. Please Kylie it's important" he begged. "fine I'll meet you at the park bench in fifteen minutes" I said.

"Okay thank you so much. I'll see you soon bye" he said. "Bye" I said and hung up.

I just put on a sweatshirt and sweatpants some converse and walked to the bench and waited for Hayes.

He soon approached me and sat down beside me. "Hi" I smiled greeting him.

"Hey" he smiled and set his phone on the table beside us.

"So what did you wanna talk about?" I asked him. "About the guy you were with yesterday" he said sighing.

Oh he's jealous and doesn't want me to hang with other boys wow Hayes.

"Hayes.. I get it your jealous but I'm not going to stop seeing him just because my jealous ex husband is jealous and not ready to move on because of what he did because he cheated" I said getting furious with him.

"Kylie just listen to me" he said.

"Why should I?" I asked.

"Kylie I can't believe you would think I don't want you to be happy that's exactly what I want is for you to find someone who will treat you way better than I ever did. I just don't want that guy to be my cousin I just don't want you to start dating Austin my cousin it's just selfish and not right" he spat at me.

I didn't say anything.

"That's what I thought" he said.

"He never said you were his cousin. I won't go on the date with him tomorrow I didn't know I'm sorry Hayes" I said.

"Yeah whatever goodbye Kylie" he spat and walked off.

I just sat down frustrated and let the tears run down my face. I needed a minute to myself.
