He was so infuriating! Darn that Emil! How stubborn was he! Why couldn't he just allow the other Nordics the satisfaction of being called "Onii-chan." It is your fault too, you know. The voice in your head replied snottily. You rolled your eyes and kept walking. You reminisced about how hurt and angry Emil was when you sided with the Nordics.

How were you to know that the name mad him livid? How were you to know that he hated being the youngest and how his older siblings teased and pestered him?! You were so upset with yourself that you didn't realize that it started to rain. By the time you finally felt your the cool, wetness of your soaked clothing it was too late. Your hair stuck to your face as if there was no tomorrow.

Angrily brushing it away, you continued walking as you folded your arms unhappily. You muttered and grumbled to yourself about having taken your car. Unfortunately, you left your keys in Emil's house and didn't want to go back. You were sopping wet when you made it to your door. Sighing, you checked both ways to make sure no one was paying attention to you.

You went up to the bushes on the side of the house and looked for the key. You found it underneath a hidden Hibiscus blossom and opened your door quietly. Your house was dark and empty. Photos hung on the lightly painted walls symmetrically. The walls were bordered with a dark chestnut brown that contrasted with the light color of the walls. Your chestnut brown furniture went along perfectly with the theme of your home.

You closed and locked the door, heading towards the kitchen to make supper. After eating, you climbed the stairs that lead to the second story and went to your room. Creaking the door open, you made sure that the window was closed and got dressed. You had the eerie feeling of being watched and shook it off. You're just being superstitious, Y/n. No one's in here except you. You told yourself.

"Should I come back then?" A deep, husky voice asked near your ear. You yelped and smacked the person behind you in the nose with your fist. You heard them cry out in pain but wasn't satisfied. You took a pillow off of your bed and began to beat them with it repeatedly. The intruder tried to defend himself but you held down his arms with your legs and kept smacking him with the pillow.

You felt them try to shove you off of them with their legs and you elbowed them hard in the gut. They cried out in surprise as you re-adjusted your body so that you could hold them down better. "Stop! Please stop! Ow! Y/n! It's me!" They shouted. Your arms grew tired and you lowered your pillow slowly. You looked at the intruder's face for the first time and stifled a giggle.

There, lying on the ground with messy hair, was none other than Emil. He saw your horrible attempt of hiding your smile and narrowed his eyes at you. "Idiot! Don't you know not to sneak up on a girl like that?! Why and how are you even in here?!" You shouted , giving him a glare and playfully smacking his arm. Emil grinned and held up your keys. Your glare softened as he pointed out the window to show his car in the driveway.
