Unexpected Love

Start of it all

     Chapter 7

                 The next day everything went fine. Nobody went out or anything and no drama, all of us were to busy trying to finish homework before tomorrow. It didn't take me that long to do it all I finished most of them in class and did part of it yesterday so I had no problem. I spent the day outside in the backyard on a tree branch reading the world best book ever. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.

           It was Monday again ugh, the worst day of the week. I woke up around 6 in the morning  to get to school early to meet with Megan we do that everyday just to be able to talk and hang out more. I left a note on the kitchen counter saying that I left to school early and stuff.

           After a long walked to school I already see Megan there on her phone. I quickly ran up behind her and screamed in her ear. "Oh My God dude!!! you scared the crap out of me." I just sat down next to her and gave her a smile. Megan spoke up first. "Okay so how was your weekend at the Johnson house?" "Well it was alright. Nathan and Liam got me a new phone but I was so pissed I say no to it so I am mad at that. But then I got to know Liam pretty well we played basketball for a bit." I left out the things about Nathan that story was for another time.

           For the awhile Megan and I talk about random things until it was almost time to go to class. "Hey Lydia race you to class." I pointed down at my ankle. "I can't remember." What sucks the most is that I can't even run unless I want my ankle to get hurt again. Megan made a face. "Oh yeah I forgot, oh well we can walk to History then." I heard someone call my name from down the hall but I decided to ignore it. I know how nice of me.

             The first half of the day went fine I was on a no homework streak and I intend to keep it that way for the rest of the day. During lunch I met with Megan and both decided to quickly drive up to Coldstone to get ice cream for lunch. Once we got back we sat at the school patio. Its really a nice place to sit and hang out at but no one ever comes up here except for me and Megan. "Oh yeah Lydia I forgot, but this weekend your brother called. Mason told me he heard what happen but he tried calling you but you won't pick up. I called you too but you didn't pick up either." I can't believe Mason actually called me. "Megan if you didn't noticed on Saturday at the mall Liam and Nathan D-bags of friends broke my phone!! LIKE I MEAN WHAT BUTTHOLES THEY ARE YOU DONT SEE ME GOING AROUND BREAKING OTHER PEOPLE PHONES GOSH IDIOTS!" I looked at Megan and she had a blank look on her face and I am in so much trouble. "They are behind me aren't they?" All Megan could do was to slowly nodded yes at me. I turned around and Nathan and Liam friends are all there. Liam looked right at me, "Hey I thought we were cool now." 'And I thought that you guys were not the kind of people who listens to others conversation but I guess we both were wrong." I don't hate Nathan and Liam as bad anymore but I am really pissed at the fact that if their friends wouldn't break my phone I would have been able to talk to Mason again but nope my phone was gone. Jade (ugh) walked up to me. "Stop being such a baby get a new phone then!" I was feeling all crabby now. "You know that be easy if I wasn't paying off the damaged car that you and friends ruined. So beside playing games just fight me up it person. Unless your scared?" My bad I pissed her off real bad her face was really red and he body is tensing up. "YOU LITTLE BITCH!" She try to slap me but I stepped back. Another fun fact about me as a kid I took self-defense class, a pretty useful skill for right now.

          For a little bit she tried to hit me but I was able to dodged it not that it was much of a challenge at her rate. A little bit later she kept on fighting the air and stop. "Hey Jade stop looking like an dummy and just leave already." I looked over to see who said that and Plot twist it was Nathan. Oh harsh ouch got burned by your own boyfriend. She quickly walked away and so did everyone else beside Liam and Nathan. Liam looked at Megan. "Hey Megan will you please leave us for a second?" She was walking away until I stopped her. "No Megan gets to stay." No one augured back. "Lydia what is the matter with you? You didn't want our own phone and I thought we moved passed this." Nathan snapped at me. "That is none of your concern and before buying me a new phone have you ever thought of the phone plan I had before you thought of buying me a random phone?" None of the boys said anything back at me. Yes! point for me. "Liam take Megan to her class and Lydia come with me."

             "What makes you think I am going anywhere with you?" I snapped at Nathan He walked up to me closing up the space between us and whispered in my ear. "You could do this the easy way or the hard way. Ladies choice." "You couldn't even make me even if we tried it your way." He gave a  look using his eyes which makes it really hard to focus. "Oh yeah?" I was ready to beat him at his own game. "Try me"
