What is Emmett doing back here, I thought he left. Turning around as just as I was about to retreat back into the house Nathan took my arm to stop me and then wrap his arm around my waist. What the fudge is he doing? I started to tense up as Emmett came walking towards us. I looked over at Nathan he had no expression on his face at all. "Lydia where did you go last night babe?" before I could say anything Nathan spoke up first. "Lydia was with me last night, and I don't like you using the term "babe" when you are talking to my girlfriend." Oh that's what Nathan doing right now, smart guy-have to give the dude some credit. Emmett eyes narrowed at me, and my heartbeat quicken as I lean closer to Nathan. "Lydia is this true are you seriously dating Nathan, last time I checked you didn't even like him." Taking a deep breath I looked straight at Emmett. "Emmett I broke up with you a long time ago and you just need to leave me alone now. I don't want you are my house or you beating me up anymore I am done with you!" I think I made things worse since he is taking a few steps closer to Nathan and me. "But you didn't answer my question Lydia are you dating the turd or what? Wait no, you guys were faking that, aren't you guys?" "Emmett I don't care what you think and yes I am dating him. I like him and he treats me well and I want to be with him so back off!"

Emmett looked at me then Nathan I knew it, I won this fight and I know this is the last fight we will ever have. After that, Nathan led me to his car. It was a really awkward car ride, I didn't know what to say and Nathan is not saying anything at all. But I seriously need to say something. "Nathan, thanks for what you did back there. If it weren't for you the I would of gotten a black eye." At a red light Nathan finally looked over at me and smirked. "You enjoyed being my fake girlfriend didn't you?" "I tried to give you a thank you and that's all you have to say?" I snapped back at him. "Aw don't in denial Lydia you loved it and I know it." I seriously can't believe him right now, we weren't even fake dating for more than five minutes ugh!

A little bit later I realized that we were at the café, not so good history we both had here together.... We both walked into the café and I noticed newspapers were set all over the floor. I looked over to Nathan giving him a confused look while he smiled at me.  "You left your blueprint here the other day so I took a look at it, and I liked it." Wow, he actually liked my work. "But that doesn't explain why there are newspaper all over the floor." Nathan rolled his eyes at me then spoke up. "We are painting the walls today like how you planned it on the blueprint." Ohhhh that explains a lot now.

As we got started on one side of the wall, starting to paint made the wall as bright as the sun - but I like it like that. I kind of now wonder if I should come home to my mom today or stay over at Nathan, I mean there are pros and cons to both side-kind of. "Lydia! Dude look at what up did!" Snapping out of my own world I turned to look over and Nathan and found green paint on Nathan face. Slowly, a smile started to form on my face, Ha! That's so funny, sometimes you have got to love the things you do while you are zoning out. "Oh I'm sorry." I try to say without laughing. I grabbed a towel and walked up to him dabbing the towel on his face trying to get the paint off. Looking up at him he was glaring at me. "You know you are going have to pay for this." he said as the was still point at the paint on his face. "And how am I suppose to pay for that?"  "This is how." As he said that, Nathan took his paintbrush and spattered paint all over my shirt. "Dude you are such a jerk!" I shouted at his face. I quickly turned around trying to reach for my paintbrush, but before I knew it Nathan arms wrapped around before I could get to the paintbrush. I tried to pull away but his grip was way too strong. "Nathan let go of me!" "Nah, I think I want to stay like this." The harder I pull the harder he squeezes me. Ugh! "Okay if you let me go then after we are done I will buy you ice cream" I shouted out. A couple of seconds later, Nathan let go of me, smile, then went back to paint the wall.

After about an hour later of painting the walls we were finally done...with a fourth of it. The green paint was all over me now, I just realized what a clean painter I am. Glancing over at Nathan he was cleaning up the area while I was just standing around. Walking up to him, I grabbed his hand and started to pull him out of the café. "Come on, lets go I still owe you ice cream." I looked back over at him and he was smirking at me. "Glad you didn't forget."

By the time we got to Cold stone, I got a vanilla milkshake, and Nathan got a random smoothie. When I was about to pay for the stuff Nathan placed his hands on top of my. "Its okay I got this." then he paid for the drinks. Looking over confused at him, Nathan was just smiling at me. "I can't let a girl pay for this." Then I finally spoke up. "I can't decide if you are being really cheesy or you just don't have respect for girls." Before Nathan could say anything one of the girl worker spoke up. "You know that's really rude I mean he is paying for you and you are not happy?" Rolling my eyes at her I spoke up. "You don't know the whole story so you have no right to say anything and just for that you just lost a tip." With that I walked out of the store, feeling good about myself-but what I said was really mean. Eh I will get over it. Walking to Nathan’s car, Nathan finally walked up to me. "You gave them a tip didn't you?" I asked Nathan. "Yes I did, and you know you were really mean." Rolling my eyes at him I told him, "Well that worker was suppose to be nice to us and two, she was just jealous since she liked you. You could tell by the way she looked at you." With that statement, a smirk formed on Nathan face. "You can't blame her, I mean everybody likes me. But I should asked her out shouldn't I?" That kind of pissed me off a little bit. "Why? You don't even know her that is so stupid!" "Why are you jealous?" He said with a wink. I scoffed at him. "Never in a million years and you don't even know why I think that is stupid so don't go around assuming anything!" It got really quiet until Nathan spoke up again.  "That was about Emmett wasn't it?" I looked up and gave him a confused look. "What?" "I mean you think its dumb asking someone out when you don't even know them since that what happened between you and Emmett." I didn't say anything back since that was mainly true. "Come on, lets take a walk around town."

We were both walking around none of us said anything to each other until I was dying to ask Nathan a question. "Nathan, how come you know so much about me and yet I don't tell you anything?" Nathan looked over to me, "It was Mason that told us a lot about you, he really cared for you." Wow, I seriously don't know what to think right now other then I got nothing to hide now, eh. "Oh by the way I like the pictures in your room you should really go into photography. " My head snapped over to look at Nathan. "How do you know about that?" Nathan rolled his eyes at me, "What did you think when you found your stuff in my room?" I didn't say anything in return but made and 'o' shape with my mouth.

By the time we got back to Nathan house I crashed on the couch and closed my eyes. "Lydia, Liam is going out tonight and since my parents are out for the week its just going to just me us tonight." he said with a wink. I sat up and looked at him. "I should probably go home now but thanks for letting me stay last night otherwise I would be sleeping on the street." I stood up and before I could walk out of the door Nathan pulled me back. "Don't go, stay."  I didn't really know what to say but, "Yeah I guess I could stay." Nathan smiled at me and said, "Lets have some fun."
