Okay I made a one week goal thing and that is to go to the café and start working on it. I mean yes Nathan has been rain checking again, but when I ask Liam about Nathan he just avoids the subject and try to talk about something else. I mean if its something personal then I don't want to get in his way but we got to finish the café soon. I will just go after school today. At lunch today I came to sit with Megan but oh here we go Nathan is there and to top it off also Liam is here too what a shocker. The moment I sat down it got all quiet and everybody was looking at me. "Oh did I interrupt something because I will go right now." I got out of my seat and walked away. I can't decide if they are planning something against me.

"Hey Lydia wait up." I turned around and see Nathan trying to catch up with me. "Yes? Can I help you?" "Nope not really just want to go with you." "Alright then but just so you know I am not that interesting so don't expect a journey." He chuckled at me and we made our way to the library, and of course he would sit on one end and I be on the other. I am still annoyed at the fact how he sits with me everyday and I still don't know why. "Nathan why are you sitting with me?" He finally looked up at me. "You know there is no law that forbids me from sitting here right?" I rolled my eyes at him. "Oh you don't say! You know what I have to go anyway I have places to be." I qucikly stood up and stood all of my stuffed in my backpack. "Where to you have to be?" "I just have places to go okay to, you don't need to start asking my question. You don't see me asking you about why you are hanging out with Megan." Okay that came out a but meaner then I intened to have said it. "Lydia if I could tell you I would so don't get mad." To be honest I don't really care about what Megan and the boys are doing if it was something bad then I would have already know. "Look I am not mad. I just have to leave now."

I don't really think it matter that I should let Nathan know that I am going to the cafe I mean he is busy so might as well not tell him. I rode my bike to the cafe which was about 5 mins so it was not too bad. I should at least fill up at least 5 bags before I should leave. I am still complaining about how this place is like a pig. Gosh who would sell a place without cleaning it up?

About 2 hours later I finally finished filling up 5 giant black bags. But then again it took like and extra 45 minutes to dragged all of those bags to the dumpster in the back. Oh crap, U forgot my bag on the table. I walked back into the cafe to grabbed my bag but before I knew it I stumbled over by a wooden stick. Luckily, I didn't land on anything too bad. But there was a sharp pain rising up on my ankle. It hurts so bad I never felt anything this bad before. Using all of the strength I that have (which is not much) I tried to force my self to get up. My ankle and handle as least half of my weight, oh well better than nothing. I may have a little limp but nothing to bad. Well time to go home.

By the time I got home, Mrs. Johnson was already running towards me. This may sound a bit mean but middle aged people run so funny. "Lydia, hi how are you I haven't seen you in quite a while." "Oh I am great thanks you asking and how about yourself?" "Oh I am great thanks for asking. But you should come over for dinner today. It be nice to have you over again it has been way too long." I don't really know if I even want to. Staying home alone was nice and comfortable and just a great small bubble to live in. But I can't just say no to her that be a bit rude. "Um sure I love to come over would you like some help cooking dinner too?" Mrs. Johnson face lit up like a Chrismas tree. I am pretty sure I never seen the woman this happy. "Oh my gosh yes! I've been waiting for this day for a very long time. I will get everything ready you can come over in 5 minutes." She started to quickly jog back to her house as I walked my bike into my backyard.

I slowly walked into my house, trying not to add any pressure on my ankle. I made my way to the bathroom to find the first aid kit to find something to wrap around my ankle maybe that could take some of the pain away, with some pain killer meds. After what felt like hours of pain trying to wrap up my ankle I am finally on my way over to help Mrs. Johnson make dinner. She makes it so obvious that she wanted a daughter but instead she ended up with two boys that are definitly not a girl in any kind of way. I walked through the front door and noticed that Mrs. Johnson was that only person in the house. I don't know where the boys are but Mr. Johnson is most likely still at work. I walked into the kitchen noticing Mrs. Johnson getting all of the food prepared. Most of the time I was just washing the fruits and vegetables and just cutting them up while Mrs. Johnson is mainly cooking the meal. Funny how after all this time I just figured out that she was making pasta. Its was rather I was not paying attention or- nope I just wasn't paying attention. While Mrs. Johnson went to take a shower I started to set up the table and brought the food and drinks to the table also.

"I'm friends with a monster thats under my bed, get along with the voices inside of my head..." As I sang along to. I turn around and bumped my head into a really hard chest and fell to the group. This is seriously not my day today, and Oww who has a chest as hard as a brick that has to be humanly impossible. I pulled my hand to my head to feel is there is any bumps but nope there was nothing. But my head hurts like nuts. I glanced up to see who was there and why am I not suprised? Nathan. "You know at one point in your life you are going to have to open up your eyes and watch where you are walking." I didn't say anything back in to him in return and just try to stand up. I noticed how Nathan eyes dropped down to my ankle and he had a confused look on his face. Oh no he is going to find out. Since I had the hardest time trying to get up Nathan just pulled me up within a second. Man the dude is strong. "Hey what happen to your ankle I didn't see it like this at school today?" I have no backup plan of how to answer this question. I think about everything there is to think about but I cannot believe I did not come up with a plan to cover this one up. Before I could answer, the front door opened up with Mr. Johnson and Liam walking in. Both of them greeted me before taking there seat at the dinning table. After that Mrs. Johnson came bursting into the dinning room as well. Talk about "Save by the people"

Throughout dinner, its was mainly Nathan talking about how football training with the team was going for him, while Liam talks about socccer and how he is going to get a scholarship this year. I had nothing to really look foward to this year but oh well. I just sat there quietly watching everybody enjoy their conversations. "So Lydia, have you planned out what collage you want to go to yet?" I looked up noticing Mr. Johnson was asking me the question. "Well I am thinking about going to Stanford University and take up photography." Nathan spoke up. "Why Stanford out of all the collages you can go to, when a lot of collages are already looking at you?" I turned my head over to Nathan, I am suprised at that fact that he pays attention to me since he knows about things that I only know. "Well Stanford is just a place I want to go to. I mean its across the country and I can start fresh and begin to take a new step in life and its not like I am going to leave anything behind." "What about Megan and Mason?" "Well Megan is already going around the world with her dad for a year learning about other countries and well Mason already left so what differences does that make?" That sounded a little bit harsh but its kind of true I mean I love Mason but if he gets to go live his life leaving everything behind why can't I do the same? Nathan didn't say anything back to me but just nodded. The rest of the dinner went fine I guess we all talked about random things and everyone was nice enough to include me into their converstation this time. Afterwards Nathan offered to walk me back home.

I said thank you and goodbye to everybody before I left with Nathan out of the door. I was trying to walk as normal as an injured person could walk. Before I knew it, Nathan lifted me up bridel style. I rested my head on his shoulder and he carried me all the way to my house. It was really quiet and a bit awkward. I somewhat zoned out since I didn't even noticed that I am in my bedroom now. Nathan just randomly dropped me on my bed and left the room. Huh, wow he didn't even question me. Yes! A gust of breeze past by me a little bit. When I looked up I see Nathan with an ice pack on one hand and a bandage in the other. I scooted over to give him room to sit down on the side of the bed. After that, he took off my other bandage and put on a new one. Wow, he was pretty good at doing this-his hand moved fluently and fast as he tried not to hurt my ankle anymore. A couple of minutes later the ice pack was on my ankle and Nathan moved beside me so we be sitting shoulder to shoulder. 'Are you now going to tell me what happen to your ankle?" Oh fudge, just when I thought that I got away with it.

"Um, well you see I am not a person that is stable and when you are are stable you tend to get hurt a lot. As you can see right here I kind got hurt, which is my ankle obviously. So in this statement what I am trying to say is-" Nathan put his finger to my lips trying to shh me. Seriously why did he do that I was not a roll. "Okay Lydia you can stop stalling and just tell the truth." Ugh!

"Okay okay, so with my statment..." Nathan lifted his eyebrow at me and gave me the looked, I hate "the look". "I fell of my bike that how I got hurt." I lied right through him without a simple flaw in my sentences. For the longest time ever Nathan and I both lock eyes. I had to keep a straight face or else he would find out that I am lying. I can't risk the fact that I went to the cafe without him. He doesn't need to give up his own time to come to the cafe with me he cancel on me so I shouldn't get in his way. "Lydia you already have a bad ankle please promise me you will be more careful." I slowly nodded at him. Nathan got off the bed and stood up and he turned around to give one last glance at me. "Well see you later." The he lower down to my eye level and gave me a kiss on the cheek .... I think I am pretty sure he did or was I daydreaming? Oh crap he just walked out of the room. The world may never know.
