It didn't take that long for the searching team to get ready and leave. After a few minutes, they bid farewell and left for searching.

Strange... Angel didn't even kiss or hug me... I wonder why...

That thought lingered my mind...which was eventually interrupted by the ringing of a phone. I heard gasps from the others; I quickly picked it up and answered the call. It must be Mysteria!

"Mysteria?" I hastily asked, not caring whoever was on the other side of the call.

"Vessy! Put the phone in loudspeaker!" she cheerfully ordered.

So I did what she said without a word...

"It's in loudspeaker now. What's the news?" I wanted to be straight-to-the-point, so I immediately demanded.

"This better be legitimate!" Dad warned. I glanced at him for a second. It was just a while...but the expression of anger and eagerness were both present on his face. He had his right hand clenched...shaking in anger or worry... That's what I think I saw, anyway.

Then we heard the loudest of laughs we've ever heard. She did so for a good 30 seconds; she finally halted... Although I could still here small giggles and scoffs. This woman is annoying...

"No need to worry! Cuz I didn't even need to prepare! Something just happened by itself! And by chance, also! How lucky, eh?" her annoying, loud voice echoed through the room as she said that. "Anyway, y'all have your first case!"

Everyone did their thinking pose and wondered.

"Could you be more detailed, lady?" Rio requested.

"Of course! Of course!" She agreed. "First of all, the scene of the incident happened in the perimeter or area of a convention center called Gorrdanzirva Convention Center! A biiiig earthquake hit that area and destroyed it to crumbled bits! Fortunately, only a few people were in the center and its area around that time and very little people were injured. The rest were rescued; the rest were barely hurt." She explained with lots of energy in her voice. Well, that's kind of good... Very little amount of people were harmed...

"However!" I knew there's a catch... If not, she wouldn't be calling us. "...A man named Geo Vulcan, a renowned geologist, in fact, was reported missing! Where is he and how is he doing? That's what YOU'RE gonna find out! I mean, you all! All of you!"

A long pause filled the room with silence... Then Daniel finally replied.

"So you say...that the hint is in that scene...?"

"Yup!" Mysteria responded. How can she be so cheery...?

"And we should find it ourselves...?" Dad asked.

"Did you think this was gonna be easy?"

Dad and I sighed... "No..." we replied at the same time.

"Alright!" Dad bursted. "We'll solve this case and find our first clue!"

"Aw yeah! That's the spirit! Goood luuuuuck~!" She hung up. All right then...

I suddenly heard two claps from Dad. I turned my head to see him and his...grinning face...? Why's he happy?

"You know, guys?" He inquired. "I'm kind of excited... It feels good to be back! Now let's do some investigating, shall we?"

Giggling, I nodded at him. "Dad... You and your reminiscing... Guys, let's go?"

They all nodded in sync. Wow...they look determined! I think I am now too!

"Firstly! Vessy, I need my old coat back. I just...don't feel comfortable with this one..." Dad interrupted...again. "Feels too small..."
