Chapter 36 Bound To You

Enjoy! It's almost finished, omg D:

___________

"Indie, duck!" I crouched down as fast as I could, my heart beating fast as I watched the silver knife fly towards one of Neil's men. I had learned that pure silver knives were the only types of knives that were able to kill werewolves. The man fell as soon as it stabbed into his body, and soon he was a lifeless mess on the floor.

"Where are they coming from?" Saxon growled, struggling to twist the neck of a man who had jumped him. He did, however, brake the bones in his neck, which counted as another motionless body on the floor.

Things escalated quite quickly, as you may have noticed, after Derek and I spoke. One after the other, Rogues that were apparently 'hired' by Neil, Derek and Saxon's father, started to appear in front of us, effectively trapping us.

We were definitely outnumbered. What annoyed me most was their timing. Had they waited a few hours, they would have had some real competition. Saxon and Colton had planned to call in their packs, seeing as Neil wanted to blatantly murder Colton.

We couldn't let that happen, now, could we?

I felt someone tug at my arm, and turned to see another Rogue, a devilish smile on his face.

"Hey there, sweet cheeks." He snarled.

"Ciao, pooper scooper." I replied, kicking him in his chest. I managed to get him to stumble back a few steps, which may have angered them a little.

Just a little.

"Cute." He commented, letting out a ferocious growl, before heading faster towards me. I widened my eyes, looking around me. I spotted the silver knife in the body of the Rogue Colton killed before. I ran towards him, pulled out the knife, and held it out in front of me.

He laughed, raising an eyebrow.

"A knife? Really?" He asked. I raised my own eyebrow, smirking.

"See, if you were smart enough, you would know that this is no ordinary knife." I said smugly. "Take a closer look, sweet cheeks." He narrowed his eyes.

"You little shi-" I cut off his sentence with a loud yell, throwing the knife at him and closing my eyes.

Soon after, I heard a loud thud. I peeked through my fingers, watching as his eyes drained their life. His eyes fell on my face, before closing completely.

'Didn't that feel good?' My wolf said to me. I stood frozen, my eyes wide at what I had just done.

"I killed a person."

'A bad person.' She corrected.

"I killed. A person." I repeated.

'A bad person. He was a Rogue trying to kill you. Kill us.'

"Oh my God, I killed someone. He probably had a family. A mother, a father. A brother, maybe even a sister. He might have had a dog, or a cat." I rambled on.

'He was a werewolf. A rogue. Rogue's don't have families.'

"We're werewolves! We just killed another!" I shouted, not even bothering to hide how horrified I was.

"Indie, behind you!" Derek shouted, grunting as he was tackled to the ground. I spun around as fast as I could, facing yet another Rogue.

"Where the hell are they coming from?" I yelled incredulously, getting a little distance between myself and the attacker that had yet to properly reveal his face.
