“Did you call Michael?”
“Yeah, he and Leon are on their way”. I try to open my eyes, but they are just too heavy.
“Can um...Can you tell if she's pregnant?”
“What? Pregnant. Did she say anything to you about being pregnant?”
“Well she'd been vomiting a lot lately and now she fainted”. My eyes flutter as I tried to open them.
“No wonder something about her looked different....But that can be concluded if so or not only if she do a pregnancy test”.
“Oh... You look surprised. Didn't Michael say anything to you about it?” Eva giggle. “I know my son. He won't make an alarm unless he's sure”.
“Your right. Akeilia said she thinks that he's suspicious but hadn't said anything about it”. I managed to open my eyes, but quickly shut it before they notice that I'm awake.
“I think she's pregnant. I don't know of her having an health issue”.
“Health can fail at anytime by just one tiny problem. You can't be too sure at times”.
“Its full time her and Michael got together. They both love each other too much. But they both can be so darn stubborn”.
“I know. I really hope she's pregnant. I'd love to have a granddaughter”. I open my eyes looking at both of them standing in front of me looking at each other.
“Are both of you gonna be the one carrying it, because I sure as hell hate pain”. I smile. They gasp and simultaneously look down at me.
“Your awake”. Monique said excited. “Thank god. Time to do the test”.
“Don't rush her Monique. If it's there it'll just stay there. Whenever she's ready”. Eva look down at me grinning. “Your ready right?” And here I was feeling that she'll let me breath a little.
“I..I don't wanna pee yet”. I just feel so uncomfortable. But I strongly believe that I am. I just can feel it.
“Michael is gonna want to know what's wrong with you when he gets here”. Monique said wiggling her eyebrows. I rolled my eyes and focus on the room I'm in. It looks like a regular doctors office. I'm on a small bed. Based on how they spoke, it seems as if we're still at the estate.
“I'm not in the hospital. Am I?” Eva is giving me a weird smile.
“Nope. It's soon time for dinner. So you better get up. Can't starve the little one”. Monique said rubbing her big belly. Here she goes again. I lost appetite for food of every kind.
“No”. I cried playfully and rolled on my belly. “No food. I hate food. No no”. They both laugh. They find it funny but I'm serious. Every time I think about food I wanna throw up.
KNOCK!
KNOCK!
“Who is it?” Eva asked. “It's Wendy ma'am”. I saw that Monique was going to say something but didn't bother. I turn back on my back.
“Is it OK?” Eva softly asked. I nod. But when I look at Monique she's glaring at me. “Are you crazy?” She mutely said.
“She seems nice”. I whispered. “So did f*ck*ng Sara”. She rolled her eyes. Monique doesn't trust anyone around me. She's more protective than even my own damn mother. I appreciate it, but sometimes I find it annoying. Well.. Just now.
Eva opened the door. The slim, long brown hair woman walked in. “I'm gonna leave you ladies. I'll be at the dining table”. She walked outside then closed the door.
