Chapter 81

Michael POV

"Oh my God!" Ok ok. So my wife was in labour. I was trying my best to lead her down the stairs but she seemed to be in pretty much pain. Her left arm was in my left, while my right hand was on the right side of her waist. I held her firmly to make sure she couldn't fell.

It was in the morning at about after 6, the day for my big break. The billion dollars project. I was already in my expensive suit, 100 percent fully prepared.

"Hurry Michael!" She squeezed my hand tighter.

"It's these damn stairs they never seem to end. I'm sorry babe I'll get you to the hospital soon".

"Ahhh!"

This is exciting for me. Except for the pain she was feeling of course. Damn it there were mixed feelings.

Also apart of me just wished Leon was here to talk me through it since he was already experienced. But I had to do things without him. I was my own man. Besides he didn't care anymore. Neither did I so it was a win win.

"Are you going to stay at the hospital until my delivery?" What?

"You shouldn't have asked me that honey. There's no doubt. I'm not going anywhere". Was she out of her mind?

"But today is your big day. You can go and come back afterwards". I almost stopped and looked at her as if she grew a second head, but I remembered she was in labour.

"I don't care about that now. I'm not missing any of God's blessings for the money in the whole world. My angels are yet to arrive and that's all I've ever wanted the day I found out your pregnant.. well not all but...you know what I mean".

"Michael p-please. You've been working all year for this".

"Yeah but I only needed two sperm cells in a few minutes for this and it's worth more, so stop trying to convince me otherwise. It won't work suga". She stopped and her heavy breathing subsided.

"If I was truly in labor all the pain would've been less with those words that came from those lips". Oh no she didn't. I removed my hands from her. She started to laugh.

I couldn't believe this. I felt disappointed.

I folded my arms.

"I can't believe you would've actually given up all that just for me".

"What was so hard to believe about that? But anyways, I just said those things to make you feel good. I would've left the moment you entered the labour room". I seriously said.

"Ohw... I guess I thought wrong when I thought you were really going to give all that up for me".

"Well that's what you get for playing me like that". She slapped my jaw playfully and smiled.

"Of course I'd do that for you baby. Your the love of my life". I backed her up to the rail. Then widely caged her between my hands after I held on to the rail. She also held on to the rail.

The innocence in her beautiful eyes made me wanna take her right away.

"I love you". I uttered before I leaned in and kissed her. The little moaned that escaped her lips turned me on even more.

"I think I have three hours left before the big fuse. Do you think you could manage an hour?" She shook her head with uncertainty. But I knew she wanted it. It was evident in her eyes.
