The first place I headed was the hospital.

"Good morning can you tell me where Akeilia Perry is being kept?" I asked the receptionist. I could've just called my father and asked, but it was quicker to asked the lady than to dial his number.

"Here you go". She handed me a piece of paper.

If your interested in a one night stand I'm all yours. I'll give you something to reminisce on.

Why did it felt like I had a deja vu?

I sighed and ripped the paper in front of her. The expression on her face made it seemed as if everytime I ripped the paper it was her heart I ripped.

Didn't expect that, did you?

"I'm not gonna let skanks like you break my family apart. Don't try to seduce me bitch because your not my type". Damn I hate woman like her. Well now. Years ago it was joy to me. I didn't yelled, but I didn't whisper either. A few persons heard. I also heard a few whispered my name. But I made sure to keep my angry face on so no one would approach me.

With women like that it didn't take much to impress. With Akeilia, it didn't once came across my mind to try to make an impression because I knew it wouldn't work.

Instead of asking her for my wife room number again I walked off and called father instead.

I arrived at the floor and saw everyone waiting at a door.

I walked to the door but before I could open it Amelia stopped me. She pulled me away from everyone.

"Amelia".

"You can't see her at the moment. You saw everyone waiting outside yet your ready to barge in".

"Well I'm her husband. I have all right".

"Not when she's undergoing surgery...What happened back there Michael?" We stopped and she let hold From my arm.

I frowned.

"What happened back where?" I know deep down she knew what I did, so why asked?

"At the house. What did you do?"

"I spoke to her for a while more before I left". Amelia half opened her mouth.

"I can't believe this". I clenched my teeth.

"What?"

"Michael what did you do?" If she had any idea how I felt she wouldn't asked me that.

"You of all people should understand me better than anyone. If you know what's good for you you avoid me".

"Michael alright. I understand that your going through a tough time right now. I'm gonna be there for you. I won't judge". Amelia wasn't as sweet as she seemed, but that was for a later date.

I relaxed my shoulders. I thought about what I witnessed earlier with my wife.

"What happened Amelia? I checked her pulse. She died in my arms. I mean I'm happy that she's alive but...". I looked from left to right.

"When it's not your time it's just not, but Ahh, she didn't die Michael. She fainted because she lost a lot of blood. Due to that her heart rate decrease and was beating slower than usual. So if you kept your fingers there a little longer you would've got a pulse". Oh. That made sense.

"What about my babies?" She smiled.

"Just sit down and relax. They all are ok". I felt good. I smiled. I was really happy. We were finally gonna live a normal life.
