"I didn't want to seem rude madam, but you seriously need to listen". Ok that's it.

"I believed all the crap you told me and you betrayed me!" Calm down before you have the whole office start eavesdropping.

"I betrayed you? How did I betrayed you?" Was this one of the times when something happened and I thought the person was involved when they really wasn't? Or she was just pretending? I will soon find out.

"Your the one with the super power. figure it out". I folded my arms.

"I told you it doesn't work like that. I only saw what I was allowed to. Whatever the matter is I don't really care because I know that I did nothing wrong. I thought you would've at least stopped traveling by yourself. I told you I can't tell when it's gonna happen". I lay my hands on my forehead. Of course she told the truth. I'd experienced years of being lied to, so most of the times I could tell the difference.

"I'm sorry Jennifer". I wasn't too big to apologise. Besides that allowed the respect she had for me to stay where it was.

"It's just that my husband pulled a stupid stunt and I thought you were involved. You told me about your past, then the call I got was a prank so I thought you were involved. It was a coincidence". She continued looking at me as if she was analysing everything I said.

"I understand". She smiled after a short while.

If Jennifer wasn't involved, oh my god. We're still in danger. Oh god.

My feet got tired so I sat on one of the chairs, worried.

"Just be careful. I don't want you to fret. What I saw doesn't always come to past. Only if the right thing is done and sometimes I don't know exactly what to say in order for it not to happen".

This was so messed up. I needed to call Michael so I quickly dialed his number hoping to get through to him this time.

Damn it Michael! I slammed my phone on the table and rubbed my forehead. A habit I picked up when I got worried.

I stopped after a thought.

"I'll call the company instead".

I searched my phone for the number nervously. God it should've been in my head.

Found it.

"Hello good afternoon. Your speaking with shantay. How may I help you?" She answered after a while.

"I'd like to speak with Michael please".

"Hold on for a moment please". The receptionist paused. I don't have a freaking moment.

"This is an emergency. Can I please speak with Michael".

"I'm sorry but Mr Perry is not available at the moment.". Well I guess I'm gonna have introduced myself. I thought these people would've known my voice by now. Or was it because she didn't expect me to call that phone.

"Mrs Perry speaking. Get me Michael now. You are aware that I'm pregnant right?"

"Oh um Mrs Perry I'm so sorry I didn't realize that you were-".

"I'm sorry Shantay but I really have to cut you off. Get me Michael please".

"Alright madam. Hold on a second I'll just inform him then transfer you if I get the permission". I can't blame her. It's her job. She had to do the requirements.

As much as I'd want to yell at her to get me Michael now. I couldn't. I had to kept the respect flowing. I've done a lot of stupid things. I'm an adult now. Not a teenager. Besides Jennifer was standing right next to me listening. And yet again she didn't know who I was.
