Jen POV

Today is the day I have been dreading for the past week, getting my wisdom teeth out. I got an appointment for today, so I am dead. I get a text from Josh as soon as I get dressed.

"Hey, gorgeous. What's up? Can we go out?" The text reads. I smile, and text back.

"Hey, Joshy! Sorry, I can't go out. Getting my wisdom teeth out :("

I get a reply almost instantly. "Aww sweetheart, who is driving you?"

"I don't know yet. Can you? Pleaaaseeee?" I type back.

"Be there in 10, baby" He replies, making me grin.

I wear my shoes, then go downstairs to wait for Josh. I don't wait on my porch because the weather outside is very cloudy, and it can rain anytime.

"Hey Jenny Lou" My mother smiles, making me smile too.

"Hey"

"So, who's driving you to the dentist?" she questions

"Josh said he can" I reply, smiling.

"Uh huh?" My mother smirks, "So it's going well, huh?"

"Yeah" I blush

"Well Jenny I can tell he really likes you" My mother winks, "Hell, I think he loves you"

"Yeah" I nod in return.

The doorbell rings, indicating that Josh is here. And I rush to the door, with a huge smile on my face. I open the door to see the most handsome guy standing there with his signature smirk on his face.

"Hey" I blush

"Hi sweetheart" he chuckles, "You ready?"

"Yeah, just let me tell my mother" I nod, "Come on in"

"Mom!" I call out, entering the living room. "Josh is here"

"I see that" she smirks, "Hi Josh"

"Hey Karen" Josh greets back.

"You take care of her okay?" My mother informs.

"I will" Josh nods, wrapping an arm around my waist.

"Okay, now go you two" Mom laughs

"Bye" I bid

"Bye" Josh adds

We make our way out of my door and to Josh's car. He goes to open the door for me, like the gentleman he is. But instead of opening the door, he pushes me against it kissing me passionately. He pulls away a little bit later smiling.

"I wanted to do that since I saw you at the door" he tells me, making me blush again.

"Me too" I smile, he gives me another peck, then opens the door so I can get in.

Josh jogs to the driver's side, and gets in.

"Do you know the way to the dentist?" he asks

"Yeah" I nod, telling him the directions.

We get to the dentist about 15 minutes later, we get out of the car and walk in.

"Hi" The lady behind the counter smiles.

"Hi" I greet back, smiling.

"Do you have an appointment?" she asks

"Yes. Jennifer Lawrence?" I ask
