You smacked your hand on the black plastic of the printer, rolling your eyes. You had a paper due in less than 3 hours, it was 3:47am and you were ready to throw it out the window. And of course, you had no idea how to fix it. It was jammed, or out of ink, or something. Either way, it was being a brat and if you didn't get that paper in you were doomed.

The doorbell rang, causing you to lean against the wall. Not something ELSE to deal with...

Realizing you had to get up, you dragged yourself from the floor and went to the door, pulling it open to come face to face with your long time crush, Eduard, his green eyes concerned.

"(f/n)? Is everything okay?" You grumbled.

"No, everything is NOT okay. My paper is due soon and the printer is broken!" You exclaimed, finally frazzled and flopping back onto the floor dramatically.

Eduard eyed you quizzically, but said nothing.

You sat up from your spot on the carpet suddenly, having been given an idea. "Hey Eduard, you're good with computers and stuff. You think you could fix it? Please?" You stuck out your bottom lip and widened your (e/c) eyes. The Estonian studied you for a few moments, and then finally nodded.

"Alright, I'll do it." He said with a hint of a smile. "Okay, where is it?"

You jumped up happily and led him to the evil appliance that had been keeping you from sleep. "Here's the dumb machine." You said drily, glancing at him.

His green orbs swept over it. "I think I can fix it." Eduard said, kneeling down in front of it and prying open the lid. He silently began to work, turning his head back to you.

"So (f/n), what are you printing?"

"My chem lab, I just finished it." You said quietly, cheeks dusting a pale pink.

"Oh, I finished that a while ago." The Estonian said, smiling a little as he worked.

"You would." you muttered darkly, eyes cast down.

Even though he was your close friend, you still felt intimidated by him at times. He was very smart, and he seemed to have all the luck as well. Sighing, you turned back to Eduard, gazing at him.

A final scraping of plastic was heard, and he handed you a sheet of paper.

"Here you go, (f/n)" Eduard said quietly. Your (e/c) orbs widened as you read the title. It was your chem lab!

Wrapping your arms around him happily, you hugged him until you heard a muffled 'mph'

"Oh. Sorry." You grinned, releasing Eduard.

He shook his head. "It was nothing." You glanced over at the clock ticking away on the wall. 4:00am.

"Oh yeah... Eduard, why are you here at this time in the morning?"

It was his turn to blush. "Um... I couldn't sleep." You rolled your eyes and put a hand on your hip.

"Yeah, right. Seriously, why're you here?"

He stared at the carpet intensely, and then looked up.

"I... I couldn't sleep because of you."

"Me? What did I do?" You replied quizzically. "Wait a minute..." It dawned on you suddenly. Did... he

Eduard nodded. "Yeah... that's why. I'm sorry if you don't like me back (f/n), I'll go." You grinned and jumped on him again, kissing him.

His bright green eyes widened in shock, the he kissed you back tentatively, then jerking his head back.

"Wait... you like me back?" You were both blushing now.

"Of course I do, silly!" You giggled, despite the fact it was 4:00am and you were almost falling on your face. Which, conveniently you did.

He caught you, adjusting his glasses and supporting you with one hand. "(f/n)? You okay?" You nodded. "Yeah, yeah, just really tired."

"Well then I better go.. But before I do-" He trailed off. You had fallen asleep in his arms, your hair fluttering slightly over your face as your breathing slowed.

"It can wait." He said softly, carrying your sleeping form upstairs and tucking you in bed, placing a soft kiss on your forehead.

"Night, (f/n)."
