I look curiously trying to get a glimpse of who it is.
The kid pushed past their parents and our eyes meet.
"Hi Noah".
His jaw dropped when he saw me with his sister. Beckett runs and gives him a hug.
"Noah this is Riley she saved me from these mean boys".
Noah looked up at me and smiled.
"Noah" says Beckett. "Do you know Riley"? He smiles and looks at Beckett.
"Were good friends". He says while rubbing Beckett on the head. My face lit up when he said that. He looked at me and winked.
I caress me neck. "I best be leaving now see ya Noah. Bye Beckett".
Beckett turns around and throws herself at me wrapping her arms around my neck.
"Don't leave" she says.
Their mother and father smile at each other. "Why don't you stay for dinner Riley" asked their mother.
I look over to Noah who smiles at me. He then nods.
I look back to the parents and with a happy tone I say "ok".
Beckett cheers and leads me inside with everyone else following behind. "Wait here" Beckett orders. As she walks away I feel a hand touch my shoulder. I turn around and it's Noah.
"Thanks for saving my sister" he says.
I smile and playfully push him.
"It's all good Noah".
He laughs. "C'mon dinners ready".
