I gulp and look away. Noah turns my head ever so softly to look at him. I awkwardly smile.

"What about it" I ask. Noah smiles and throws himself at me, wrapping his arms around my neck. Was he....hugging me?

I froze for a second then slowly wrapped my arms around his waist. "I'm sorry" he whispers into my ear.

I pull him away, holding both his arms. "Oh no" I say trying to reassure him. "Noah it's not your fault that happened, it always happens". He frowns at me then slides his arms out of my grip and places his hands into mine. He smiles at me then squeezes both my hands.

"I promise that, that will never ever happen again ok Ri". "You are very important to me and I hate seeing you hurt". A smile came to my face turned bright red, but I didn't care, I was happy that someone cared for me, loved me like I've always wanted.

I shake myself out of thought and smile. I playfully punch him in the arm. "C'mon" I say. "We should keep walking". He nods and follows me to Beckett who is sitting down on a park bench watching the ducks swim in the pond.

"Finally" Beckett sighs. We both laugh at her and she folds her arms and stares at us angrily. "What it's not my fault you guys took ten years". Noah laughed and brings her in for a hug. "One, it wasn't ten years it was 5 minutes and two... thanks for letting us talk B". Beckett smiles and playfully pushes him. "It's all good just hurry up next time". Noah nods and pulls out of the hug.

We all walk to school together, talking and laughing and in that time Noah's eyes never left mine.
