Brendon's pov

Today is the day we get our little girl back. Ryan and I have been working hard day and night to increase our chances in court today. Our lawyer go us an early time slot so we can get the case over with.

"Babe are you ready yet? We have to go pick up Pete." I ask Ryan wrapping my arms around him.

"Just one second I just have to finish my hair then I'm finished." He says kissing my hand.

"Okay I'll be downstairs come down when you are ready." I tell him

"Okay. I love you." He says

"I love you too." I say

I walk back downstairs and get something quick to snack on before we pick Pete up. Today is going to be a long and stressful day, but it's all worth it. Yesterday an unfamiliar number called me and left a suspenseful message that left me in tears. 

~Flashback~

*Brendon's phone rings*

"Hello?" He asks

"Hi is this Brendon?" A female voice asks

"Yes this is he. Who is this?" Brendon asks

"Well my name is Ashley and your daugh-" Brendon cuts her off

"Where is she? Is she alright?" He asks frantically

"She is fine I think. Anyways I saw her in a mall yesterday and she gave me a message to give to you. Would you like to hear it?" She asks

"Yes of course." Brendon replies calmer now.

"Okay she says I love you Dad. I know about the court date and I can't wait to see you. I miss all of you soo much. I had hoped you forgot about me but now I am beyond glad you didn't. This place is a hell whole and I miss you. Please tell Pete I love him and can't wait to see him. I wish I could text you but they are monitoring my phone. I love all of you. See you soon." Ashley says

" Th-thank you so much." Brendon stutters out 

"Your welcome. I'm going to leave you now. I promise I won't save this number." Ashley says

"Thank you Ashley." He tells the girl.

"Your welcome Brendon."

~End Of Flashback~

"Babe I'm re- What's wrong?" Ryan asks frantically

"Nothing. Nothing I'm fine." I say unconvincingly

"Bren I know your not come on just tell me."

"I was just thinking about that call I got the other day." I tell him.

" It's going to be fine Bren. Let's just go get Pete then head to the court house." He tells me.

" Okay let's go." I tell him.

Short chapter but I felt bad for not updating. Sorry for the wait.
