The pool parking lot was swamped with cars when we pulled up. Streets were lined with cars as well, and Chris struggled to find a parking space for his car. When he finally did he turned to look at me and opened his door.
"2 hours and then we can bail if you feel uncomfortable," Chris stated, his hand lightly touching my hand. I squeezed it and smiled brightly at him.
"Let's do this!"
We met up with Liv, Anna, and Payton at the front gates. They had car pooled with each other, and it seemed like Anna was about to pull her hair out.
"Let me guess, they had a ship war again?"
"Can we not talk about it? I feel like if I hear the words 'ship' and 'canon' one more time I might flip my shit. I seriously just want to swim."
"Sure. Let's go in then."
As we headed in through the gates, I could hear loud music being played. And to my surprise, their selection of music wasn't terrible. I spotted the DJ and made a note to request something later.
"The smell of teen spirit," Liv said.
"You were so close to saying the title right," Anna shook her head.
