Chapter 24

That night, I stayed by his side watching over the Iron Dragon Slayer. I could help but feel like this was my fault. I glanced toward my companion, my partner, my first friend... in this town. The night was completely quiet the only thing lighting up the room was the shine from the moonlight. I could hardly sleep during the night just waiting for him to open his eyes. The night had passed slowly because of that, I'm sure I only got a few hours of sleep before morning came shining through the window. I let my hair fall down around my face as I wrapped my belt around my waist. I grabbed a dark blue coat thrown over me as I stood up.

"I'll be back soon, Gajeel. I'm getting something to eat" I opened the door walking out

I made my way around town looking for something to eat. I was hungry but I didn't have an appetite knowing my friend was still in danger. I was lost in thought, walking aimlessly around. that was till I was knocked down by a strange blue cat. It groaned as I sat up and suddenly he was flying

"I'm sorry Miss, I didn't see you there"

"You're a... flying- cat" I asked unsure

"I'm an Exceed. My partner is a Fire Dragon Slayer"

'Dragon Slayer, I thought only Gajeel was the only one'

"Right, well I got to go" I started to get up till I heard yelling

"Happy, buddy where you at" they screamed

"Over here, Natsu"

"There you are" he looked over at me "Woah, you okay" he held a hand out helping me up 'Hey this girl looks like the one gramps told us to find'

"Thanks but I should really go" I told them walking away

"Wait!" I turned back "You should come with us, you know to say sorry for Happy crashing into you"

"No it's fine" 

I started to walk away, again. Till I felt a hand grab my wrist I tried pulling away but he had a strong grip. He began to pull me in the opposite direction of the hospital and I wasn't going to let him. In my hand I started to gather up fire, expecting him to feel the burn or something but he doesn't. He just looks at me strange then happy.

"What you have fire magic as well"

"No... why didn't it hurt you" 

"I'm a Fire Dragon Slayer"

"Whatever, I have to go"

"Come with me, Gramps need to see you" he grabbed me again but before he could pull me away a iron hand smashed into his face

I looked up to see Gajeel standing there grinning. As the iron retracted he was about to fall I rushed to his side.

"You idiot. You have to be resting"

"Can't leave you alone for two minutes without someone coming after you can I, Squirt" he teased, which I laughed having him back again

"Come on that hurt" Natsu groaned "Just come with us, Gramps said to bring you back" 

"I don't think so, Flamehead" Gajeel spat

I grabbed my gun and pulled my sword out of it. The black feather gathering around creating a shield. It protected us from all the fire he was throwing at us. I held my gun in my hand pointing it to the ground, a magic shappire color design appeared. The bright light blindly us slightly but once we opened our eyes we were back in town, more exact in front of the Guild.

My attention was then drawn toward the ground below us as I noticed a trio walking toward the door. Just before they could open the large double doors of the guild. They exploded inward in a blast of fire throwing the trio backwards into the air. The double doors were completely destroyed into pieces as they flew backwards littering around the hall. 

"What the...?"

I stared down at the smoke that was slowly disappearing. When the smoke was gone, there they were

'Why? Why they come here for no damn reason'

They were all standing at the entrance, each of them wearing an angry look upon their features. The spiky pink haired young man standing in front was the first thing that drew my attention. The muffler around his neck and the flames slowly appearing around his body

Natsu

I recongnized most of them right away, Natsu, Gray who was shirtless. Elfman, Loke, Cana and the small man there Master. Master Makarov. The rehead beside him cause my eyes to widen. Her long scarlet hair was flying behind her ash her eyes narrowed. Her face looked the so familiar. 

"FAIRY TAIL IS HERE" Makarov yelled

They all charged into the guild but I kept my eyes upon the redhead, who summounded out twin blades. Tearing through Mages coming at her. She was like a vengeance full goddess, her hair flying behind her with every twirl as she did her eyes not missing a single thing. Suddenly my attention went to their Master who changed becoming enormous in size. 

'H-He is monster"

"AND YOU DARE TO LAY YOUR HAND UPON THAT MONSTER'S CHILD" his voice thundering "JOSE, SHOW YOURSELF. YOU HAVE A BUNCH OF EXPLAINGING TO DO"

"H-He is strong"

"Where are they?" a female voice yelled, my attention back to the redhead "Where is the Angel of Death, Black Steel and Element Four?" 

From beside m, Gajeel let out a 'Gihi' laugh

"The legend herself, Titania Erza" he said "She is calling you out, Lucy"

"Looks like it" I said gripping my Gun of the Forbidden 

In that moment their Master walked up the stairs leaving them behind

"Well, how about we go down there and join the fun?"

Before I could answer him, he jumped down from where he was laughing all the way before landing on the large wooden Phantom Lord banner breaking it. Everyone turned their attention where the noise came from. I shook my head at his eagerness to fight and stood up before jumping down as well. Then out of nowhere, a member of Fairy Tail came charging toward him but my black feathers started to surround him before exploding and sending him flying backwards

"I had him you know" Gajeel said

"I know" I told him landing beside the Dragon Slayer "I need a epic entrance too"

"It's you two" Erza said drawing our attention towards her "Black Steel and the Angel of Death"

I unleashed my magic from within me as my black feathers appeared around my form and my blade which was sheathed. I turned my attention towards her as I felt my wings and horns grow, "I heard you calling me out, Titania" I said "Here I am" I grinned showing my sharp teeth

With that the feather all flew towards her, causing her to dodge them as they exploded on contact. She changed her armor into a black one with wings and aimed at me. I grinned as I pushed over the edge, flying towards her. My sheathed blade clashed against hers. I was surprised at how much power there was behind her attack. 

Then Dark Purple/Black met Red
