Living with Mr. Bad Boy

Chapter 7

" Her names Bethany. She's a female dog. "

Nora and I had gotten the conversation of Jaxon's ex, Bethany Wellington. Even her name sounded prissy. I was told by the girls she was in Europe for the first month of school. But now that the first month is almost over she's coming back.

" She tells everyone her and Jaxon are still a thing but he denies it. She's a major slut, slept with half the boys in our grade and a year below."

I couldn't help but laugh. Why would she sleep with 11th graders, they could be so immature sometimes it gets on all my nerves. Nora took a sip from her berry smoothie and we continued to walk down the hall. We saw Saura and Ollie and greeted them with smiles and heys.

" Queen B's back" Ollie groaned and I chuckled

" Is she really that bad?" Everyone looked at me with wide eyes and look that said 'Why-the-heck-did-you-even-ask'. I rased my hadns in surrender.

" Apparently." I said answering my own question. I fixed the books in my hands and we all continued to walk down the hall. Halfway to our next class Jaxon joined us in his signature leather jacket and converse. He glanced at me then loked away quickly. I couldn't help but look down at the ground and push a piece of my hair out of my face.

Latley, for the passed week, Jaxon has been staying in my room. He's been sleeping on my uncomfortable couch. I felt bad for him, he's always rubbing the back of his neck and he always looks tired.

It's my fault.

I scream and cry in my sleep always waking him up. But he doesn't get angry with me or scream at me. He wakes me up, holds me for a few seconds to calm me, then he walks into the bathroom and gets me the sleeping pills. He gives them to me then goes right back to sleping on that tiny couch.

He stepped into step with the group and we all headed toward the cafeteria to each lunch.Once we got there I grabbed my lunch and sat outside with my friends.

" So when is ths Bethany chick coming back anyways?" I asked the group and Oliver was the one who answered.

" Next Tuesday" He smirked and NOra scoffed.

" Of course you would know." Saura and Danny just laughed and Oli shrugged.

"What!? She was good lay. Don't you think Jaxon?" Everyone turned there heads to Jaxon who had his eyebrows raised.

" Great lay. " I looked down at the grass. I had to admit it hurt a little hearing that he liked another girl and that he had already slept with her. But after all he is Jaxon and Jaxon is a player. Yea I liked him and all but I should know better.

" But horrible person. I don't understand how you still sleep with her man." He tossed a fry in his mouth. I couldn't help but notice his blue eyes look at me. Only for a split second, probably hoping that I didn't see it.

" So enough about Bethany." I looked at Nora who sat in Wyatt's lap eating an apple. It was cute ho they just looked so comfortable.

" My parents just bought a new beach house, it's right there on the beach. Two stories ,five bedrooms. " Everyone nodded there heads in agrreemnet. It sounded like a great idea. Maybe I would be able to just relax and not have to stress about what has happened lately.

" We can leave after school tomorrow. GIve us plenty of time to pack and get stuff. " Saura said and I nodded.

" Sounds great to me."

" Thanks for driving me home Jax. " He hung up his keys on the key chain and just nodded.

" Yea sure." He didn't sy much more and just walked away. Em came running into the living room with a stuffed animal in hand.

" LINA!!!" I laughed and knelt down so my 5'5 height matched her 4'0 figure.

" What's up Em." She giggled and handed me a little paper heart. It looked like she had olored and cut it out.

" I made this for you." I smiled at her and kissed her forehead while standing up.

" Aww thanks Emmy! I love it!! " I took the little heart in my hand. She smiled a big toothy grin and ran off. She dissappeard and I walked up the steps. I passed Jaxon's door and his music blared. I rolled my eyes and walked into my room. I hooked my iPhone up to my speaker and let my playlistplay. I pulled out a black duffel bag and began to pack.

Before I knew, it was almost 10 and I was done packing. I headed into the bathroom and did my nightly routine. I changed into black sweatpants and a loose T. I turned on my lamp and turned off my light. I could hear Jaxon brushing his teeth in the bathroom. He finished then knocked on my bathroom door.

" Yea."

Jax came in with his usual pillow. I got situated in my bed and he went to go lay down on the couch. I turned out the lamp and laid back, not closing my eyes. He ept shifting on the couch. It was like he couldn't get comfortable.

He moved again, this time the couch squeaking a little.

" Jax." The movement stopped and I heard a " Hmm?"

" Are you-?" I said referring to him being comforatable.

" Yea fine. You okay? Any nightmares?" He sounded worried. I couldn't help but smile in the dark.

" No. I'm fine." He didn't say anything. " Come up here" I turned and flipped on the lamp. I loked and say his confused face.

" IF you don't want to leave, I don't want you killing yourself for me. You can lay on top of the covers." He didn't move for a second then he slid off the couch. He walked over to the bed and propped his pillow up. I felt a bend in the bed and Jaxon's  warm body beside mine. HE leaned over me and turned out the light. HIs breath brushed my ear ad I couldn't help the goose bumps go all up and down my skin.

" Night Lina." I smiled

" Night Jax."
