17 ~ Raven

Imagine when after everything at Mount weather happens, Raven begins to be snappy and frustrated with everyone and thing because of her leg. So in secret you made a leg brace so she's able to walk properly again.

You were cautious when walking into the same room as Raven Reyes.

Lately, she'd been angry and frustrated with everyone and everything. You believed it was because she was feeling those emotions towards herself.

Every since mount weather and how they messed up her leg, it'd never healed properly and caused bad damage. She was able to walk, but painfully and limping. It was hard for her to do anything.

She was always moving, always doing something and now she had to do it with crutches or someone by her side. She was independent, but not with people always helping her.

You cared for Raven, whether as a friend or something more, you wanted to do something to make her happier. She with the skills she'd taught you, you successfully made a leg brace.

You found Raven deep into work at a desk, doing whatever it was that needed to be done. You can the leg brace in a cardboard box, smiling to yourself.

"Hey Raven." You strained. It made her look up with raised eyebrows.

"Hi, Y/N. What's that?" You dropped it onto the desk, away from whatever she was working on.

"A gift. For you." You gestured to the box. She gave you a look.

"Why?"

"Just open it!" You demanded.

Raven held her hands up, turned and faced the box. She lifted the flaps and removed paper that was over top. At first she was highly confused as to what this was.

But she was smiling ear to ear when she realized.

"You made this?" She asked, her expression in awe at you.

You nodded shyly, hands clasped together. Raven had never looked happier. Raven pulled it out and held it upwards.

"Sit down, I'll put it on you!" You exclaimed, bringing her chair over.

She sat down and you began opening it up. Using her tools, you then placed her leg inside. Twisting and turning and locking, you shut it tightly and looked up at her.

She was smiling brightly. You helped her to her feet and let go, walking backwards slightly to give her space to walk.

She walked. Less limping and there wasn't a grimace on her face. All smiles, something you hadn't seen in a while.

"This is amazing, Y/N. Thank you so much." She walked to you, hugging you tightly and kissing your cheek.

You blushed, just happy that you could bring that beautiful smile back onto Raven's face.
