Lauren decided that she liked sleeping next to Camila better than sleeping alone.
It was more or less the only thing going through her mind when she noticed the brunette waking up, groaning as she stretched and rubbed her eyes. She adjusted the black throw blanket over her naked body and briefly looked around in a daze before blinking and sitting up.
And there was something so beautiful about her first thing in the morning, an ethereal quality; hair in messy waves cascading over her shoulders and the early sun radiating on her bare back, drenching her skin.
Lauren also decided that Camila was absolutely breathtaking at any time of the day.
Her eyes landed on the raven haired girl in the kitchen who appeared to already be showered and ready for the day.
"What time is it?"
"Almost eight."
"Ugh, why?" she groaned again before lying back down, closing her eyes again. "School's out for the holiday; we don't even have class until Monday."
"Yeah but I actually work now, which is still shocking if I'm being perfectly honest." She walked over to the couch, wiping her hands on her thighs and Camila opened her eyes again, taking in her appearance. She was in simple skinny jeans, a black sweater, and her converses with her hair still slightly wet and pushed to the side over one shoulder. "I didn't mean to wake you. You can go back to sleep, but I'm making breakfast if you want."
"You are?"
"Don't sound so surprised."
"You know how I told you to go back to your old self? This part of the new you can stay. And the part that cleans," she joked, somewhat, and Lauren laughed at the still sleepy brunette.
"You're an idiot."
"I love it when you sweet talk me."
"Shut up." She made her way back to the kitchen and called out behind her, "Keep it up and you get no French toast." At her words, Camila sat up again and folded her arms over the back of the couch, now fully awake.
"Wait, did you say French toast?" she asked, watching curiously as Lauren grabbed the butter from the fridge. "That's my favorite. It'll be just cruel if you deprived me."
"It's a good thing I'm known for my compassion," she replied sarcastically.
"Jerk."
"That sounds about right." She chuckled to herself, placing a couple slices of the coated bread into the frying pan. She looked over to the brunette still watching her and Camila immediately smiled at her. "What?"
"Nothing. You look cute when you're being domestic."
"You look cute when you're naked," she quipped back without much thought. Camila rolled her eyes and stood up from the couch, purposely walking around it to get into Lauren's line of sight. She just barely caught the green eyed girl's stare as she made her way to the bathroom to take a shower. She smirked before turning her head.
"Don't burn the toast."
"Wow," she said, mostly to herself as she heard the bathroom door shut, and she shook her head to snap out of it. But she still felt the heat in her cheeks while she tried to focus on the frying pan in front of her and not the image of her naked roommate.
It was only around ten or fifteen minutes before she came back out of their bedroom with her hair wet and wearing her underwear and a loose t-shirt that only just barely reached the bottom of her ass.
