Weeks have passed since the whole Saviors capturing Daryl incident. My anger still hasn't subsided, my sadness still hasn't left either.

My leg however, is doing remarkably better. I could walk on it, though I couldn't run yet. So whatever was injured must've been able to repair itself in a pretty speedy manner.

"Rayne, on your right." Kaylee called out and I threw a knife into the softened skull of the walker. He dropped on the ground, and I pulled my knife out of the flesh.

"That's three in under five minutes." I said, staying fairly quiet, as Rick had instructed us to do.

Since I couldn't go out of the walls for a few weeks due to my leg and also the danger the Saviors posed, I was charged with the responsibility to train Kaylee and Dean. They had gone too long without proper training, and could barely protect themselves, so we had to teach them if they wanted to survive.

Deanna had wanted me to do great things with the young people of Alexandria, and I wasn't about to fail her, so I started to train them. Well, it's more like I trained Kaylee and Carl trained Dean, but they were being trained nonetheless. And as soon as I was cleared to go outside the walls, I wasted no time in bringing Kaylee out.

"I know, there might be a small herd around here somewhere." Kaylee remarked, keeping her usually perky and loud voice down to a small whisper.

"You kill the next three that we see. Sneak up on one, shoot one, and then your pick for the last. And then we can go back." She nodded, and I leaned up against a tree, watching her and the surroundings for any sort of danger.

It only took fifteen minutes for her to achieve her three kills, and she performed them with only a small amount of flaws.

"Nice work, but you know, you drove your knife through the thickest part of the skull, go for the temple, it may save your life one day." I said and she nodded, looking down at the handle of the knife.

We made our way back inside Alexandria and saw the RV being packed.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Maggie's having some trouble with the baby, we need to get her to Hilltop, and fast." Sasha answered me in a haste. I turned to Kaylee and nodded.

"You stay here with Dean and take care of Judith, I'm sure not everyone is going, but you two need to protect her. Don't let me down." I said and watched her nod. I hurriedly got to the armory where Enid and Carl were having some sort of fight.

"I'm not going to let that happen to you." Carl said to Enid, who rolled her eyes.

"What's going on?" I asked and grabbed a few guns to take.

"Nothing, it's nothing." Carl said and walked out of the armory. Seconds later he returned to the doorway and said,

"You're not going." He made direct eye contact with me and I was taken aback. Of course I was going to go. I shook his comment off and paid Enid no mind.

I climbed into the RV and sat down, as Rick started it, I saw Kaylee and Dean holding Judith on the front porch of the house the RV was sitting directly in front of.

I gave them a small wave, and turned my attention back to the matter at hand.

Maggie was in extreme pain.

I nodded to myself and took a deep breath, hoping this trip went smoothly and uninterrupted.

The sound of my blood pumping seemed to echo in my ears. Carl climbed into the RV and closed the door behind him, Rick leaving Alexandria immediately after.

"Rayne, I told you that you aren't going." He said, laying his gun up against the seat.

"I know that you told me that, but here we are." I said, not backing down. I had to stand up for myself. If he could risk his life, so could I.

"No, what if something happens to you? You're still recovering from a gunshot wound to the knew for Christ's sake!" He yelled, getting mad.

"I'm not going to let you risk your life while I sit around doing nothing. I have to do this, I've been in recovery for too long." I said, crossing my arms. He shook his head and went to the front with Rick and Michonne.

I don't care if he was mad or not, but I had to be here for my people, in case something goes wrong, they'd need all the help they could get.

Maggie could be heard in the back in severe pain, so I went back with her and held her hand, trying to calm her down.

"It'll be okay, we're getting you to Hilltop, you and the baby are going to be just fine. Focus on your breathing." I soothingly said and saw her try to relax as much as possible.

I was nervous, to say the least. I had never dealt with a situation like this before, and I wasn't about to freak out now, not when Maggie needed someone calm. Glenn joined me with Maggie in the room and sat beside her, trying to calm her down as well.

He gave me a nod and I quietly left the room and went up by Carl. I put my hand on his shoulder, and he shrugged it off, obviously still mad at me for disobeying him. I didn't take orders from him, so I don't feel guilty for being in this RV.

He walked away and sat where I had previously been sitting, and I sighed.

"He's just worried about you, you know." Michonne said.

"I know, but if he's going to risk his life, I'll be right by his side. We're a team, we don't do things alone." I said, and sat beside him.

"I'm not going to apologize." I said, and he sighed.

"I know you aren't."

"Then you understand why I did it. You would've done the same thing." I said. He nodded and looked at me.

"I'm just scared."

"Of what?" I asked, and before he could answer, Rick stopped the RV.

"We've got some company."
