I opened my mouth to protest but the way he looked at me was quite terrifying. The evident pain in his eyes left me speechless.
"I really want to punch you right now, and if you were a guy I wouldn't a hesitate."
My mouth was clamped shut as I waited for him to finish, for he was not done. No, he was definitely not close to done. He was only just beginning.
"And besides, I actually think before I act."
And with that he turned and left me alone, staring after his back.
