Chapter XXVI Kains P.O.V

I wake with a smile lighting up my face.
I walk to the kitchen.
It's early as hell, but all of my men are awake and eating.
I smile and walk to the fridge.

"Noels not awake?" I ask looking at Adrian.
He shakes his head no and he resumes eating.
I walk up the stairs and open the door to Noel room.
It's dark and I can't see anything.
I flick on the light and see an empty room.
An uneasy feeling fill my gut.
I hurriedly​ walk to the bathroom and open the door.
It's empty.
I run out of her room and to the kitchen.

"Did anyone see here leave?" I asks in rush.
Everyone looks at me shocked.

"Did you see her leave!?!" I yell and begin to panic.
The last time she left she was hurt.
I need her back under my roof.

"No" Adrian speaks looking for someone who had.
Everyone looked back at him with shock.
No one knew when she left.
No one even knew if she left willingly?!?
I spun around and ran to my office.
I grabbed my phone and called her.
It rang a few times before she answered.
I sighed in relief.

"Noel where are you I was so worried!" I yell through the phone angrily.
I await her snarky remark.

"Hello Kain" a voice rings through the phone and my body goes numb.
Vincent.
My body is shaking with silent rage.
He has her.

"Where is she you sick bastard!" I roar into the phone.
I await a response as I open the door angrily.
I walk into the kitchen with my anger evident on my face.
I watched as all of my men paled.

"Oh don't worry Kain she is safe with me" he laughs through the phone.
I squeeze the phone so hard my knuckles are white.
A familiar feeling of hopelessness fills my body.
I can't do anything but watch what happens.
I can't save her.

"Let me speak with her" I demand.
I need to tell her how sorry I am.
I need to tell her that I will come for her.
I need to tell her to be strong.
She needs to be strong.

"You caught me. She is out cold" I feel as though the wind has been knocked out of me.
My men scramble to get the tracker on his location.
I just stand there and look at the wall.
I can't do anything.
I am defenseless.

"See you soon Kain" the line goes dead and I throw my phone as hard as I can against the wall.
It shatters and flies everywhere.
Everyone freezes.
My eyes snap to Adrians.
He looks livid as well.
I look to Liam and see him gathering his things getting ready to leave.
Blake and Luke are walking in with arms full of assault rifles.
I watch as they all prepare to retrieve her.
I know that no matter what we do we will never get her out of there.
I turn my numb body and walk away.
I walk up the stairs and into her room.
I see her bed a mess.
Her room is empty.
I remember the thing I never gave her.
I walk to my room and grab the box, and then I reenter her room.
I sit on her bed and slowly open the box.
The bracelet meant for her mother sits in it.
Why haven't I given it to her yet?
I set the box on the bed and close my eyes and hang my head in defeat.
I here someone enter the room.
Infact I hear a few someone's enter the room.
I glance up at the men infront of me.
They look at me with anger, regret, guilt.
The list of emotions is endless.
I close the box next to me and stand to my feet.

"Why aren't we leaving? Why aren't we trying to get her!?!" Adrian yells stepping towards me.
I look at him with empty eyes.
I shrug my shoulders.

"No matter what we do to try and get in there we will never make it inside of those gates" I say with a hollow voice.

"We lost her and there is no getting her back" I whisper and walk past them.
Adrian grabs me and spins me around violently.
