Chapter LIV Kains P.O.V

My life motto before I met Noel was show no emotion then feel no pain...
It worked for so long up until I met that girl.
People stayed away from me because of how close I was.
Then I met someone even colder than me.
She changed my world...

The days have passed and I still don't have my angel with me.
The pain is dull inside of my chest now.
It's just a reminder that I failed her...

I haven't been able to find her and I feel like it's my fault now she is still gone.
She must have fought to get back to me and now she can't fight anymore.
You know that feeling when your heart finally grasps what is actually happening.
My angel is gone...
She won't ever be coming back to me and I have grown to except that...

The pictures and videos Emmie took before are the reason I still walk the earth.
She has a video that Noel didn't know was being taken when she explained why she loved me.
Photos of her precious smile light up my world now.
She won't ever be with me again and the photos and videos are keeping me alive.
Without her what is the point of being alive?
She was my only reason...

It's like no matter how much I try she will forever cloud my world.
No matter what anyone says or does she blocks my senses...
She won't leave...

There was one last place to look and I don't think it's where she went.
Why would she return to the ring after she quit?
She wouldn't so that was the place I refused to look...

I went to school for a few days, but it became to hard to walk the halls.
She had a memory locked with every inch of that school.
It's like she haunts my very existence.
The fact she isn't coming back still hasn't settled in my bones...
No matter what I refuse I stop looking for her.

Adrian and Liam finally lost hope.
They keep asking me to have a funeral for her.
They want to burry her memory and finally let go...
I won't let them...
She has to be out there somewhere right?

My fingers softly type the passwords so I can look at the last piece of footage before I have to let them win.
She can't be dead...

The video rewinds to a few weeks ago and I press play.
I watch a lot of men enter the ring and I sit up slightly.
My eyes lock onto the screen as I freeze up.
After a few more minutes a figure emerged from the darkness and walks closer to the ring.
It's a smaller person and I feel my heart rate increase.

They stop infront of the door way and turn to look at the camera.
They look directly at it and I scan it seeing if I am right.
After a few minutes the scan is complete.
A face appears on the screen the makes my heart stop...

Her bright green eyes are amplified through this lighting...
Her cheeks looks bright and alive.
Her eyes locked onto mine as she looked directly into the camera.
It's like she wanted me to see her.
I begin typing away to see what happened later.

After a few more minutes the doors fly open again.
A man exits with her thrown over his shoulder.
I freeze the tapes and scan all of the mens faces.
My hands shakily dial Adrian's number.

"Kain?" His voice is strained because he too hasn't slept in weeks.
My breath is shaking as I think of what to say...

"I found something..." I say and I hear him rushing to me.
The basement doors fly open and I hear him running down them.
The seat next to me is filled and I look to him.
His eyes are locked on the screen searching for what I found.
I zoom into The frozen screen and show him her emerald green eyes and light white face.
I see him lock up as he leans closer...

"It's from the day she disappeared..." I say and he looks to me with tears in his eyes.
I run the scan again so he can see the confirmation for himself.
It dings showing it indeed knows it's Noel...
He grabs his keys and runs up the stairs.
I sprint after him jumping into the car and we hed to the last place she was seen.
