Dansby left for their 8 day road stretch yesterday and honestly I don't know what I'm going to do without him being here. I've become so accustom to meeting him at the cages or going to his place after the games. Today is thankfully Saturday meaning Megan and I weren't doing a single thing.

"Should we go shopping?" Megan ask as we lay across our couches.

I look up at her weakly before letting my head fall. "I think not."

"You never wanna shop!" Megan whines, its true shopping is one thing I hate, I can normally do it for an hour or two but after that I'm out.

"I just don't like doing it for hours upon hou-" I'm cut off by our apartment door opening. Megan and I stare at each other knowing only one other person has our key.

"Well damn it looks like you two have seen a ghost." He smirks stepping through the door.

"Jeremy?" I squeal jumping of the couch and attacking my brother. "What are you doing here?"

"I had come up to Atlanta yesterday for a meeting so I figured I'd stop by for the day on my way home." He grins pulling away from my hug.

"You couldn't have called?" Megan sasses with a smile on her face.

Jeremy is only a year older than me so we've all always been close. When we were younger Megan and I use to be the only girls hanging out with Jeremy and all his friends. "Well that wouldn't have been any fun." He smirked. "Now come on I'm taking y'all to lunch."

He goes to step farther into the living room but stops when Munson comes hauling ass towards him and pounces on his leg. "Hey there you runt." He coos being down to pet him.

"He's not a runt." I scold picking my baby up off the ground. "Are you Muns? You aren't a rut are you?" I say in my baby voice.

"You are something." Jeremy shakes his head. "Now lets go in starving."

I grabbing my purse from my room and following Megan and Jeremy out to his truck. Jeremy is lawyer for a firm down in Macon but he has to come to Atlanta often because their main office is here. "Jere, smile!" I say holding up my phone as we approach his car. He quickly strikes one of his normal corky poses making me laugh.

"You would think being 22 you'd come up with some new poses rather than the same ones since high school." Megan comments shaking her head.

"This is gold." I smile typing away on my insta.

"Don't do it." Jeremy threatens eyeing me.

"To late." I smirk hitting the upload button.

"Where we going?" I ask kicking my feet up on the dash.

"Ay feet down!" Jeremy leans over smacking my legs. I roll my eyes dropping them into the floor board. "I was feeling Olive Garden." He says buckling up.

"Oh my gosh yessss! I could chow on some chicken Alfredo right now." Megan dramatically says from the backseat.

"That fine as long as I'm back by 4 for the game." I shrug.

Jeremy's eyes widen as he snaps to toward me. "Oh yea do you care to explain why you didn't tell me you are friends with Dansby Swanson?"

"Psh they're more than friends." Megan snickers in the back making me glare at her in the rear view mirror.

"What is that suppose to mean?" Don't get me wrong, I love my brother and he's one of my best friends, but he is WAY to overprotective.

"I may or may not be sorta kinda talking to Dansby." I flash him a weak smile hoping he doesn't get too mad at me for not telling him.

"Oh are you now." He glares. "Were you going to tell me?"

"I swear your like mom." I groan sliding down in the seat. "Look he's a pro baseball player, I didn't want to make a big deal about it and it end up being nothing. I don't know where this is going and I really like him so I don't want to scare him away."

Jeremy'a glare softens as I admit my feelings. "You really like him?"

I nod my head and smile. "He's the first guy since John that I can actually see myself dating."

"And you know that's big for her to say." Megan pipes in from the back seats.

"Well I better be meeting him soon then." Jeremy says.

"If it's gets serious you will." I assure him as we pull into the Olive Garden parking lot.
*********
After going to Olive Garden Megan and I practically drug Jeremy into TJ Maxx so we could look at some more things for the house.
We've only lived here four months so we still don't have everything we need.

"Tae, look at this pillows! It would look perfect in the sun room on that couch!" Megan exclaim holding up a maroon throw pillow.

"Oh my god I think I'm gonna go bang my head on that wall over there now." Jeremy groans beside me making me reach over and smack him.

"Shut up." I snap turning back to Megan. "Get it! It will look super cute when we get the curtains up on there too!"

I look down at my phone as see that it's 1:23, the guys are probably in the clubhouse right now getting ready so now is probably the perfect time to text Dansby.

Me:
Good luck today superstar💙

"Whatcha doing?" Jeremy sings placing his head on my shoulder.

"Texting." I answer shoving my phone in my back pocket.

"Texting who?" He teases poking my side.

"Dansby you dick." I laugh walking away from him.

"She's always texting or taking to him." Megan jokes bumping hips with me.

"No I'm not." I protest as my phone vibrates in my back pocket.

Dans💙❤️⚾️
Thanks baby girl💙 FaceTime you after the game

I smile at the words baby girl typed out.

Me:
Kick some ass😏

"See I told you, always texting him." Megan snatches my phone from my hand. "Good luck today superstar." She reads in a teasing voice.

"Awww how cute." Jeremy mocks throwing his arm over my shoulder. "I wish Emma would've sent me encouraging text before games when I played."

"She might have if you actually had a chance of getting in." I joke shoving him off me.

Jeremy places his hand over his heart in hurt. "I'll have you know I played in exactly 53 game I'm my career at Mississippi State."

"You're talking to the girl who only left the field because of injury in all four years." I smirk at him.

Jeremy and I are both very competitive people so when you put us against each other it's pretty cut throats sometimes.

"Alright!" Megan says stepping between us. "I think it's time to head to check out and get you two home."
