Chapter 5 - Gryfindor Common Room

Erika's POV
McGongall tapped on her glass.
"Your attention, please."

Dumbledore stood up.

"Let the feast....begin." he said.

The food appeared right in front of us.
Belle and I were amazed by it.
We started eating, until Harry asked Percy something.

"Say Percy. Who's that teacher talking to Professor Quirrell?" Harry asked.
"Oh that's Professor Snape. Head of Slytherin house." Percy replied.
"What does he teach?" Harry asked.
"Potions. But everyone know it's the Dark Arts he fancies. Been after Quirrel's Job for years." Percy replied.

I followed Harry's glance and he was looking at the man with black.
Belle and I grabbed a drumsticks, all of a sudden...

"Hello! How are you? Welcome to Gryffindor." the ghost said, scaring Ron.
My eyes widen at that.

Ghosts started to appearing everywhere.

"Hello, Sir Nicholas. Have a nice summer?" Percy asked.
"Terrible. Once again, my request to join the Headless Hunt has been denied." Nicholas said.

"I know you. You're Nearly Headless Nick." said Ron.
"I prefer Sir Nicholas, if you don't mind." Nick said.

"Nearly Headless? How can you be Nearly Headless?" Hermione asked.
I nodded, agreeing with her.

"Like this." Nick replied.

He took off his head. Ron screamed a bit, while I almost puked.
Belle choked on her food, she looked away, almost puking.

I supported her by patting her back.
"You okay, Belle?" I asked.

She nodded and she turned to her pumpkin juice and drank it.

"Gryffindors follow me, please keep up. Thank you." Percy said.

We were following him to the Gryffindor Common Room.

"This is the most direct part of the dormitories. Oh and keep an eye on the staircases. They like to change." said Percy.

Thanks for the information, Percy. I thought to myself.

"Keep up please and follow me. Quickly now, come on." Percy said.

We were going up the stairs and noticed the pictures were moving

Whoa! I thought.

We walked up to a picture that has a women dressed in pink.

"Password?" she asked.
"Caput Draonis." Percy replied.

The picture opened and we walked in, following Percy.

"Welcome to the Gryffindor Common Room. You'll find the dormitories upstairs. Boys to the left and girls, the same of your right. You'll find all youe things already waiting for you there." Percy explained.

I looked around the common room. It looks so pretty.

"Now, I suggest for you to go to bed. Tomorrow you'll have classes." Percy added.

Everyone started to go upstairs.
"Come on, Belle. Let's go." I said.

She nodded.

I smiled and turned to Harry.
"Good night, Harry." I said.

"Good night, Erika. Belle." he said.

I smiled at him and Belle and I went to the girls dormitory.

Belle was fast asleep already. I tucked her in and went to my bed.
Then I pulled out a piece of parchment and wrote a letter to Dad.

Hope he's doing well with the Clan.
