Isabelle's POV
"Welcome to another year of Hogwarts. Now I'd like to say a few words before we all become a bit fuddled by our excellent feast. First, I'm pleased to welcome Professor R.J. Lupin who has kindly consented to fill the post of Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher. Good luck, Professor." Dumbledore said.

Everyone clapped as Professor Lupin stood up.

"He's the one that have you the chocolate you two." Hermione said.

"Potter."

I looked behind Harry and it was obviously Malfoy.

I suddenly choked on my own saliva.
"Is it true you fainted?" He asked as his friend pretended to faint.

"I mean, you actually fainted." Malfoy said.
"Shove off, Malfoy." Ron sneered.

Harry turned back around.

"How did he found out?" Harry asked.

"Just forget it." Erika replied.
I coughed quietly.

"Belle, you okay?" Ron asked
"Oh, yeah. Brilliant." I said as I grabbed my pumpkin juice.

Erika looked at me suspiciously.

When suddenly, Malfoy made eye contact with me, somehow. He stopped laughing at that point.
I looked away and paid attention to Dumbledore.

"I'm delighted that our Care of Magical Creatures Teacher will be none other that Rubeus Hagrid."

Everyone clapped for Hagrid.

"Finally on a more describing note as a request from the Ministry of Magic, Hogwarts until further notice, play host to the dementors of Azkaban. Until such a time as Sirius Black is captured. The Dementors will be stationed at every entrance to the grounds. Now whilst I've been assured that their presence will not disrupt our day to day activities...a word of caution. Dementors are vicious creatures. They'll not distinguish...between the one they hunt and the one who gets in their way. Therefore, I must warn each and every of you. To give them no reason to harm you. It is not in the nature of a dementor to be forgiving. But you know, happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times...if one only remembers to turn on the light." Dumbledore said.

"Now, lets enjoy the feast." he said.

Food came upon us and Ron....well, let's just say he munched on chicken drumsticks.

"I lost my appetite." I said, pushing my food away.

Erika did the same.

And I caught some boys staring at me, I turned around and when I looked at them, they looked away.
And same goes for Erika.

She balled her fist and she almost send her fire powers out.
"Erika." I uttered.

"Huh? Oh sorry." she said, and calmed down.

Then I looked at Slytherin table. Some Slytherins were giving the looks. Like I'm some kind of prostitute.
And when I looked at Blaise.

He gave me a wave. I smiled and waved back, a little.

'Ignore them' he mouthed.

I nodded and looked at Ron again, who was still eating.

Please, let dinner be done already. I thought.

After dinner was done....FINALLY!

Erika and I stood up quickly and ran out first.
"Thank goodness we're out of there." Erika said.
I nodded.

We all headed off to our common room.

"The fat lady won't let me in." Seamus said.
"Let me try." Harry suggested.
"Be my guest, Harry." Seamus said.

"Fortuna Major." Harry said.
"Wait. Watch this." The fat lady said.

Then she started to scream so loud. Like trying to get the high note.

Then she couldn't take it, so she pushed the glass to the wall.

"Amazing. Just with my voice." She said.
"Fortuna Major." Harry said again.
And he got ignored.

The fat lady grabbed anothe glass cup.
We all groaned.

"Harry, maybe I should try." I suggested.

"Miss Fat Lady." I said, nicely.
She then turned to me.

"May we please come in? It's not very nice to leave us out here." I said.

She gave me smile.

"You're so adorable." she said.
"Please." Erika said.

She's still giving me and Erika the eyes. Puppy eyes, I guess.

"Fortuna Major." I said, nicely.
"Yes, you can go in now." She said

"Thank you." Harry said.

We all walked into the common room.
"She can't even sing." Harry and Seamus complained.

"So, Erika...tell me." Hermione said.
"Tell you what?" Erika asked.

"If you like Harry or not." Hermione replied.

She gasped and looked away.
"Ah Ha! So you do like Harry." Hermione exclaimed.
"Shh....do you want the world to know?" Erika asked.

Hermione giggled.
"I knew it you would like him."

I was lying on the bed, thinking.

"So, Belle." Hermione said.

Oh no, here it comes. I thought.

"That look on Malfoy's face...his face sort of soften when he looked at you." Hermione said.

I sat up and looked at her.

"Hermione, don't be thinking like that. I hate him and you know it." I said.
"Well, you never know what happens." Hermione said.

I crossed my arms and huffed.

"Hermione, Belle is right. During the summer, she doesn't really talk about Malfoy that much. And I hate him as well." Erika said.
"But, didn't you see his face when he looked at Belle?" Hermione asked.

"Of course I did." Erika replied.

"Belle, just stay away from him. If you date him....well, I don't know what to say." Erika said to me.
"Pfft, why would I date him? A pureblood manic like him? Ha! Like I would of." I said.

Erika sighed.

"Besides, I rather date someone who loves me for me." I added.
