Chapter 66 - Harry's Patrous

Erika's POV - The Very Same Day
"Belle, what happen to your lips?" Hermione asked, concerned.
"It's nothing, really." Belle replied.

"Nothing?! That cut isn't nothing." Hermione exclaimed.
"Hermione, I already took care of it. Long story short, Pansy Parkinson slapped her across the face. No one slaps my sister like that." I said.

"Parkinson slapped you in the face, Belle?" Ron asked.
"Yeah." Belle mumbled.

"Was there any reason why?" Hermione asked.

I looked at Belle, waiting for her to answer.
"Let's not talk about right now." Belle replied.

Hermione sighed and nodded.
And I started to look around and noticed someone wasn't here.

"Where's Harry?" I asked.
"He went for a lesson with Professor Lupin." Hermione replied.
"For what?" Belle asked.

"Hmm....probably just a lesson, I guess." Hermione replied again.
"He didn't really give you the details, didn't he?" Belle said.

"Yeah." Hermione said.

Harry's POV
I went Professor Lupin's Classroom on the 3rd floor. Time to learn how to conquer Patronus.
"Are you sure about this, Harry? This is very advanced magic...well beyond the Ordinary Wizarding Level." he said.
"I'm sure." I replied.
"Well everything's prepared. The spell I'm going to teach you is called the Patronus Charm. Did you ever hear of it?" he asked.
I shook my head.

"No? Well...A Patronus is a positive force. For the wizard who conjures one...it works like a shield, with te dementor feeding on it rather than him. But in order for it to work, you need to think of a memory. Not just any memory, a very happy memory, a very powerful memory. Can you do this?"

I nodded.

"Very Well...Close your eyes."

I did what he said.

"Concentrate and explore your past. Allow it to fill you up and think of a powerful memory. Once you got the memory, then speak the incantation, Expecto Patronum." he said.
"Expecto Patronum." I said.
"Very good." said Lupin.

I opened my eyes and got the memory.

"Shall we? Wand at the ready." he said.
I pulled out my wand and got ready. Professor Lupin opened the chest and there came it out, the boggart.

"Expecto Patronum."

Nothing happened.

"Expecto...ex..pecto." I blacked out.

I woke up and Professor Lupin gave me Chocolate.
"Here, eat this." he said.
"I didn't except you do it at your first time." he added.

"That was sure a nasty denmentor." I said.
"Oh no, That was a boggart, Harry. The real thing would be worse. Much, much worse." he said.

I got up and lean on the wall.

"As a matter of interest, what were you thinking?" he asked.

"I was thinking my first time flying on my broom." I replied.

"Harry, it has to be more powerful than that." he said.

I walked over to the candle and start to play with the flames.

"There's another. It's not really happy. But seeing their smile on their faces...and...." I trailed off, because, as of right now. I'm thinking about Erika.

"Is it strong?" Lupin asked.
I turned to him and nodded.
"Let's try again, shall we?" he asked.

I nodded. "Just do it."

I got my wand ready and Professor Lupin went to the chest and open it. The boggart came out.

"Expecto Patronum."

Nothing happened.

"EXPECTO PATRONUM!!" I yelled.

And a white shield came out of my wand.
It lead the boggart back to the chest. Lupin shut the chest tightly.

"Well done, Harry, Well Done!" said Professor Lupin.

He gave me more Chocolate.

"Here, eat this."

"I think I have enough for today." I said.

"Yes, let's sit down." he said.

"Your memory must be strong." I nodded.

"I was thinking of her, my dad, and my mum. Seeing my parents faces and the girl that I ever loved." I said.
Lupin chuckled.

"I'm assuming this girl is very special." he said.

I nodded with a smile on my face.

"Seeing her smile all the time. Even my parents. But it's the best memory that I have." I said.
