Boyfriend or Best friend? ~Jc Caylen~

We all walked in the house together and right off the bat we all saw people we recognized, but one particular person caught my eye. Taylor. As soon as I saw him my heart stopped, I'm not sure if he saw me, he might of glanced at me, I don't know.

" I'm gonna go get a drink" I said to the guys walking off to find alcohol, I found the drink table and poured myself one of the drinks into a red cup and started to down it 

" You come with Nash ?" I heard the familiar raspy voice ask me as he poured himself a drink, I froze. I was so shocked that he just came up and asked me or talked to me for that matter

" Uh no- no I'm came with Jc.. and them" I kinda mumbled 

" Hmm" he said taking a sip of his beverage

" Yeah.." I said awkwardly 

" And Nash is just cool with that" 

" If you must know Taylor, Nash and I no longer have a relationship.. or friendship" I looked at his reaction from the corner of my eye and he looked confused, " He uh cheated on me" 

" Well maybe he just did it to get back at you, I mean you did cheat first Violet.." he said taking another drink nonchalantly 

" Low blow Caniff" I said turning towards him getting a little pissed, " And fyi Nash and I were not together when.. ya know the whole Kian thing happened" 

" Riiiight, but for the record I'm pretty shocked that he cheated on you"

" Yeah yeah because we were such a great couple and he's such a great guy" I said in going on and on using hand motions 

" No" Taylor said cutting me off, " I just meant, I can't believe anyone would ever cheat on you, I mean look at you" he said taking a step back and scanning his eyes up and down me 

" Yeah I know.." I said looking down. I didn't say that as in 'I know I'm hot stuff' I just always get hit on because of my looks and after a while it feels like no one ever wants me for my personality. 

" And it's not only that" he said picking up a piece of hair and tucking it behind my ear, and it made me look up into his eyes, " You're ambitious, empathetic, brilliant, gregarious, and frank which to me is an awesome trait to have, Violet he took you for granted and didn't realize what he had and.. he's honestly just" he paused " A fucking dumb ass" he mumbled into his cup as he took a drink 

" Wow.. thanks no one has ever said anything like that to me and I have to say I'm pretty shocked.. I thought you hated me" 

" Because of the Kian thing ?" I shook my head yes

" Eh I could never hate you Violet and honestly I was more hurt and.."

" Jealous ?" I said quietly, but loud enough for him to hear me, he glared at me 

" Fine. I admit I was a little jealous, but it doesn't matter anymore so we can just move on" 

" Agreed." I said throwing my empty cup in a nearby trash can 

" Well I'll be around" he said starting to walk off, but I grabbed him and turned him back and pulled him into a tight hug. It kinda caught him off guard at first but i felt him hug me back, and I know he has feelings for me but I had to show him some kind of affection. 

" Thank you" I said into his shoulder 

" No problem babe" and then we pulled away after a while, " And I should've mentioned this earlier, but.. Nash is here"

OML !! I came back to 464 reads ! Holy shittt you wonderful humans im SHOOKETH !! But anyways I know it took me a little while to update, but I'm back on my usual schedule so a new chapter will be up tomorrow. Also feel free to ever request anything :)
